Dear editor: I am writing to say thanks to the community for their help in the aluminum can drive that we held at Hacker Middle School. Due to all the hard work of students, staff and community members, we were able to collect 3,039 pounds of aluminum, which is enough for a family to spend seventy-two nights at the Ronald McDonald House.
