Following a winning season that put them one game shy of going to this year's state basketball championships, two of this year's Lady Tiger varsity all-stars earned a chance to play in the college ranks.

During a ceremony Monday afternoon, Blas Lord and Shelby Posey signed letters of intent to play with Wenatchee Valley College on separate scholarship programs.

"This is a great opportunity for both of them," said Brent Keener, head coach for the Lady Tigers varsity basketball squad. "The college has two great quality players to start for them next season."

  • I think is was really low of shelby to blame her parents for her playing basketballinstead of dancing. If she were a true dancer at heart she would not let anything stop. and she for sure wouldn't let it be her parents.
