Tiger yearbook, paper staff win awards

The Mountain Home High School yearbook and newspaper classes won several top awards at the National Journalism competitions held in Portland, Ore., April 15-18.

The 2009 Mountain Home High School yearbook took a silver medal from the National Scholastic Press Association for its "contribution to sound journalism writing and adherence to compelling design techniques," according to Edmund Sullivan, executive director of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
