Political Incorrectness of a One-legged Man
I use to be a pastor in Mountain Home in the 90's. I'm now a disabled, divorced man who unfortunately has nothing but time on my hands and looking for ways to productively burn time.

Kudos for Obama
Posted Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at 11:41 AM43With the exception of his Health Care Reform, Obama has done all the can at this point to undo Bush's manhandling of America's domestic issues. Or should I say non-handling. The Republicans would have us believe that our present condition has nothing to do with Bush, but now is Obama's screw-up. ... -
What you see is what you get.
Posted Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 4:00 PM6Or is it? How often do we hear candidates for political office promise changes in the current system? Why do we vote for a person who at best will be a junior Senator or Congressman who has no influence or power to change anything? Is there a "best" candidate to vote for who says he's going to bring change? I don't believe that for a second... -
Victory Mosque or Cultural Ctr?
Posted Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at 12:32 PM17I'm sure that the proposed site to build a mosque/cultural center near the site of the 9/11 tragedy is on many minds these days. The Koran apparently promotes the building of a mosque at the site of a Muslim victory over an "infidel" enemy. There are over a hundred mosques already in use by 800,000 Muslims in New York city alone. ... -
WTH(what the heck)
Posted Monday, July 19, 2010, at 9:10 AM11I have just found out that, as a veteran under the care of the VA, I won't be forced to enroll in the new "Health Care" program. This was one of my biggest concerns because I receive a SS-Disability income and really can't afford to buy health insurance. You'd think I'd be feeling pretty good about this and not care about how this is going to affect most people in our country, but I don't... -
Consider this
Posted Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at 10:23 AM63Lately I've been hearing more and more complaints about the economic "decline" under the Obama administration.(which of course began under GWB's watch) In speaking with someone, he pointed out that in Mountain Home and elsewhere, people were still packing restaurants for their entertainment and just plain "I don't wanna cook" moods... -
Not so much political.
Posted Friday, June 18, 2010, at 10:16 AM11This might not be politically correct or even political in nature at all, but it's something that I need to get off my chest, and maybe educate some who may be guilty. Recently, there have been a couple of little girls(7ish) that have come up to me when I'm sitting outside my apartment with my little dog, and one of them asked me if she could walk her on a couple of occasions. ... -
Amazement
Posted Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at 12:52 PM31It amazes me that the "right" continues to equate Obama's actions or in-actions to Bush's foopahs. According to some, the BP spill is said to be Obama's Katrina. How foolish. Bush's lack of action along with Fema, cost lives. The repair of the oil spill source has been in the hands of whom it should be, BP. ...
