Where is Mayor Sykes and city hall’s explanation on this issue? Due to a social media post, a citizen reaching out with a concern and a citizen’s three minutes of recognizing persons in the audience at a city council meeting, it was revealed that the city was collecting fiber fees twice. The city charged the builder $1,195 for fiber installation, and the homeowner later received an assessment for $3,229.67. These double charges have appeared in the Silverstone 2 subdivision on Raelynn Street...
