State crime report gets local perspectives

Evolving law enforcement strategies and efforts to identify patterns and trends involving various illegal activities before they happen represent various factors leading to an ongoing drop in crimes reported in Mountain Home and communities across Elmore County.

Information provided by the Mountain Home Police Department and the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office came just days after the Idaho State Police released its yearly report regarding crimes and arrests reported in communities across the state in 2024.
