Students show gains in IRI tests

Elementary students in Mountain Home and communities across the state showed steady gains made in their reading proficiency, according to data released last week by the Idaho Department of Education.

Twice a year, students in kindergarten to third grade complete the Idaho Reading Indicator, or IRI, test to measure their early literacy skills.
