Idaho State Police detectives continued their investigation into an officer-involved shooting in which a Hammett man died. Matthew David Conrad, 34, died Tuesday morning following a high-speed chase by local law enforcement.

With the threat of wildfire danger increasing throughout southwest Idaho, including parts of Elmore County, local wildland fire management agencies implemented Stage 1 fire restrictions Friday afternoon. Evangeline Whiterock, age 56 of Owyhee, Nev., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016, at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Matthew David Conrad, age 34 of Hammett, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016. A viewing will run from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016, and the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. that morning at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home. Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 at the Little Butte Cemetery in Annis, Idaho.

Paul Wesley Cullison, age 85 of Mountain Home, entered into rest on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2016 at 5:21 p.m. at a local care center. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at Mountain View Cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 26 Honor Guard. Arrangements were under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.
