Stan Winings meets with kindergarten and first grade students at Richard McKenna Montessori School on Dec. 14 to discuss firearms safety as part of the city police department's Eddie Eagle program. Karen Birchfield and Connie Cruser from the Mountain Home Senior Center present a certificate of appreciation to Wal-Mart representatives Victoria Breding, Maggie McFadden and many of the store's employees during a meeting Dec. 14. Local Wal-Mart employees contributed $6,000 to the local senior center to help with ongoing efforts to renovate the center's kitchen. The store raised the money during a chili fund raiser in October along with money collected during various volunteer efforts...
