Students attending German language classes at Mountain Home High School earned top honors during a recent competition at Boise State University. The nine students earned the awards during the university's "Do Deutsch" event Oct. 28 that was held in conjunction with its German Language Olympics...

Girl Scout Troop 347's members recently dressed up as peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in an effort to help provide food for the hungry in Mountain Home. The girls were at Albertson's asking people to donate jars of peanut butter and jelly for the Grace Lutheran Food Bank in Mountain Home...

People from Mountain Home Air Force Base and the local community will join forces to bring a "taste of home" to dorm residents and those deployed overseas during an annual airmen's holiday cookie drive. "The holiday cookie drive is a long-standing Air Force tradition," said Traci Buckley, this year's cookie drive coordinator.
