People from Mountain Home Air Force Base and the local community will join forces to bring a "taste of home" to dorm residents and those deployed overseas during an annual airmen's holiday cookie drive. Firemen's Ball set

The annual Fireman's Ball will run from from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Nov. 26 at the Elk's Lodge. The Jeff Palmer Band will provide music for the informal-dress event, which helps raise money for the local volunteer fire department's burnout fund, aid to injured firemen fund and several scholarships they give to local students each year...
