German language students excel at 'Deutsch' event

Students attending German language classes at Mountain Home High School earned top honors during a recent competition at Boise State University.

The nine students earned the awards during the university's "Do Deutsch" event Oct. 28 that was held in conjunction with its German Language Olympics.

  • Learning any language improves one's understanding of their first. I had a very hard time identifying the parts of speech until I began learning German. I attribute my success on the English Language Skills test Journalism majors must pass to my studies of German.
