Elmore County has a dumping problem. Along our roadways and out in our desert area, a person can see trash everywhere they look. Some of the dumping is intentional while some is accidently lost out of the back of vehicles on the way to the landfill. This situation is a regular part of conversation in county meetings and officials have decided to ask for the community's help in cleaning up the trash...

A member of the Air Force Stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base faces charges of rape and aggravated assault. A preliminary hearing was held for John Stafford on Aug. 30 in the Elmore County Court House. As the hearing began Stafford's defense Motioned for a Substitution of Council, which brought in Aaron Tribble as his defense attorney. Paul Robert Mott 84, passed away, August 31, 2018. Paul was born in Norwalk, California in 1933 to Thelma and Paul Mott. He grew up in Taft, California with his parents and brother Jack. In his youth he shared a passion for building and racing boats with his father. He graduated from Excelsior High School in 1951. He liked to remind people the school was the model for Rydell High School from the movie Grease...
