The annual Concert in the Park will open July 12 with the local band "Neckid Rednecks." The summer series in Carl Miller Park is put together by the city Parks and Recreation Department and the Mountain Home Arts Council. Concerts typically begin at 6:30 p.m. and last about two hours. Glen David St. Germaine, 74, of Mountain Home died on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at a Mountain Home hospital. Emily Cross has graduated form Mountain View High School, formally of Mountain Home High School. She has joined the Marines and is now at Parris Island, South Carolina in Marine boot camp. She will graduate boot camp August 30, 2013.
