Friday, June 7, 2013
Thomas Hutchings and Anomaly, shown here from their concert in Carl Miller Park in 2010, will return to Mountain Home Aug. 2 to wrap up this year's summer concert series. Hutchings is a graduate from Mountain Home High School.

The annual Concert in the Park will open July 12 with the local band "Neckid Rednecks."

The summer series in Carl Miller Park is put together by the city Parks and Recreation Department and the Mountain Home Arts Council.

Concerts typically begin at 6:30 p.m. and last about two hours. The concerts are free to the public and those attending are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets or just sit on the grass.

"Tar Water" will return for a one-time reunion July 18 for a special event to raise funds for the fire department. That concert will run from 6-10 p.m.

"Blaze & Kelly" of Boise will perform their high energy, blue-grass music on July 26. On Aug. 2, "Thomas Hutchings and Anomaly" return to Mountain Home for the series.
