Shop With A Cop program will aid 120 kids in need

The Annual Shop with a Cop Program kicks off Saturday with area law enforcement authorities and volunteers from the base helping children from poor families buy Christmas gifts for their family members. Shop with a Cop will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning with breakfast in the commons room at Mountain Home Junior High School. Mountain Home's annual creche exhibit, a non-denominational event sponsored by the Mountain Home Stake of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, opens to the public Friday. St. James Episcopal Church, 315 N. 3rd East St., will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. An angel Christmas throw and matching pillow will be raffled by the Saintly Quilters.
