The Historic Opera Theatre in Glenns Ferry will launch its 2009 summer season June 12. Shows will run through Aug. 29 with dinner shows each Friday and Saturday evening. Each Friday evening the theater will present the comedy murder mystery "Let Him Sleep 'Til It's Time for His Funeral."...

The Elmore County commissioners Monday tabled until next Monday, June 15, any decision on the rezone for the AEHI nuclear power plant. Based on legal advice given to them at their meeting Monday, where they discussed the rezone, the commissioners will be limited to addressing only the rezone of more than 1200 acres of agricultural land southwest of Hammett to a heavy industrial zone, without specifically addressing the reason for the rezone -- the potential construction of a nuclear power plant...
