With the best weather in a week shining down on Mountain View Cemetery, a good crowd of several hundred people gathered to pay tribute to the nation's war dead during Memorial Day services Monday. Millie (Black) Alltucker, 94, a descendant of the original settlers of the Snake River and Bruneau Valleys in Idaho, died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Overbrook, Kan., on Sept. 2, 2003. Pauline Woodruff, 77, of Mountain Home died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at the Elmore Medical Center Nursing Home. Jack Sokoff, 71, of Mountain Home, died after a battle with cancer at St. Alphonsus hospital, Thursday, May 27, surrounded by his loving family. At Jack's request, there will be no service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date...
