Doris L. Bridwell, 72, formerly of Mountain Home, died Tuesday, Jan 13, 2004. Doris was born May 27, 1931, in Mountain Home to Alice and Eric Kessel. She moved to Siskiyou County, Calif., in her early 20s. In 1950, Doris married Bob Bridwell. Together they were partners in hunter safety instruction for more than 30 years. For many of those years she and Bob helped raise abandoned or orphaned deer and other animals that the Department of Fish and Game would bring to their house...
