Cremation arrangements are under direction of Summers Funeral Home.
A family memorial service will be held at a future date.
Memorial prayers will be offered at Faith Lutheran Church, 1190 N. 6th East St., Mountain Home on Jan. 25 at 10:30 a.m.
As a member and volunteer of the Faith Lutheran Church and it's LWML group, Eunice sewed hundreds of quilts for the World Relief and served as an officer of the group. "She was an excellent seamstress and cook, an avid golfer, and God's servant and comforter to many in need of attention and love," her family said, "adding that she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother."
She is survived by: her husband, Norman W. Shorts; her children, Sandra Ann Mosbrucker and her husband, Gerry, Norman W. Shorts, Jr. and his wife, Karen, Arlene F. Stout and her husband, John; two granddaughters; three brothers and their spouses, Hilbert Brandt of Alpha, Minn., Eldred Brandt of Trimont, Minn., and Vyrn Brandt of Clermont, Minn.; and three sisters, Evelyn Casey, Vera Brack and her spouse of Mankato, Minn., and Merva Carlson and spouse of Watertown, S.D.
