Silver Wings, the community-based group that helped finance this year's airshow on base, has donated almost all of its profits, $23,500 back to the community. Leaving only $5,000 for seed money for the next airshow, the group gave 32 base and town organizations checks to continue or expand their projects...

Mayor-elect Joe McNeal says the first thing he wants to accomplish is to unite the city. "I want to be the mayor of the whole city, not just those who voted for me," he said in an interview with the Mountain Home News following his victory in the run-off election Dec. 2...

Clyde S. Harlan, 76, of Glenns Ferry, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at a Boise hospital. Evangelina Ruby Ysursa Basabe, 78, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, surrounded by her family.
