Finally, a “Ted” Worthy of Respect”

....and nowhere near "Camelot." MsMarylin has it backwards again. Nobody's "circling any wagons" around Ted Nugent.........Nugent has merely seen the light YEARS AGO, and JOINED the liberty train already in route.

He said that if "Obama is re-elected, I'm gonna be dead or in jail within a year."

Do you know how OFTEN I've heard that over the past couple of years?

Naturally, every Democrat with a pulse makes their OWN MEANING out of that..........

I've said it MYSELF, time and again in my own blogs....and you people have READ it-----------------"I will die on my feet before I'll live on my knees." It's basically the same thing NUGENT said.

It is a REFUSAL to surrender our rights and liberties to ANOTHER "King George" type of government.

It has been coming for a long time before anyone ever HEARD of "Barack Hussein Obama".......don't set him up as "something special" because this is NOT about him! He HAPPENS to be in charge at the time where everybody has finally had ENOUGH............and that's just HIS tough luck. If he'd lost the election, McCAIN would have to be dealing with this.....if HE had subscribed to a socialist style of government.

And folks......the "hard right" stance on our rights and freedoms did NOT start on January 20th 2009.

Do any of you know how long the term "FROM MY COLD DEAD FINGERS" has been around? We knew way back THEN----------that this "era" was coming. And we have NOT been snoozing in complacency, as one Congress after the other....one President after the other...........has "dabbled" with the laws of this land.

If you consider yourself to be a free person.......this entire government HAS to OFFEND you. If it doesn't, you've got a serious problem..............(or WILL have!)

This is NOT about ONE INDIVIDUAL PERSON........it is about an "Monarchy wannbe" flexing every muscle-----step-by-step.........ISSUE-by-ISSUE until they reach a point where they can finally TELL us when to JUMP.........and "how high!"

The citizens either need to get with the program, or get out of the way.

You folks on the left know NOTHING at all about the right. You THINK you do, and maybe your liberal professors have "educated" some of you on "theory"..........but if you've never been in this camp, you haven't got a clue.

Some of you guys are so conditioned, brainwashed and "institutionalized"......ya don't even know who your actual ENEMIES are-----------yes, they HAVE done their job on many, haven't they?

But they didn't do it good enough, thorough enough, and have CERTAINLY not done their homework, because those who DO stand for this country, ain't buying what they're selling........and never have.

I'm gonna piss a bunch of you off right now, and could care less. The ship is going down by the bow, and there's no more time to be "polite."

Socialism/communism is for stoned sheep....not for a free people. We all "call" ourselves Americans, because we were either BORN here or "naturalized. But I tell you one & all..........you are no more an "American" simply because you were BORN here------than you'd be a "musician" simply because you've purchased a guitar.

If you don't show respect when our flag passes, there's a problem.

If you don't act and LIVE free......you are NOT.

If your country isn't as important as someone else's.......you don't belong here. You belong THERE. LEAVE!

Ted Nugent's just a rock player........... I can't stand his "head-banging music", and never HAVE. But I DO like his attitude and priorities.

And he's not ASHAMED to be an American, and I'd be proud to SIDE HIM when the time comes.

In the midst of confusion, dysfunction and "political correctness", Nugent is NOT ASHAMED to stand and be counted as one who DOES put America first! What a breath of fresh air THAT is, especially among those in the entertainment world.

The "Secret Service" is gonna investigate him...........that's LUDICROUS....... from an agency that apparently can't even monitor ITSELF!

Last night on the way up to Wally-World, they were playing an old Merle Haggard tune on the radio......."Okie From Muskogee"................that song STILL sounds right to ME! It's still the way it SHOULD be.

Obviously, Ted Nugent thinks so too.

God Bless a man who still has the fortitude to be a patriot. Especially TODAY!

Screw the commies, Ted........go for it.......you've got so much company out here, even the census-takers won't believe it!

What would there be to investigate, he didn't make a threat, only an observation.

Ted isn't going to do anything. He's just another right-wing war-monger coward who when given the chance to fight for his country did nothing for his country and instead ran away. I thought you military vietnam guys would be repulsed by this guy as an anti-american draft dodger. He makes George W. look like a war hero.

According to the July 15, 1990 Detroit Free Press Magazine, Nugent claimed that he tried to avoid the draft:

"He claims that 30 days before his draft board physical, he stopped all forms of personal hygiene. The last 10 days, he ingested nothing but Vienna sausages and Pepsi; and a week before his physical, he stopped using bathrooms altogether, virtually living inside pants caked with his own excrement, stained by his urine. That spectacle won Nugent a deferment, he says. '... but if I would have gone over there, I'd have been killed, or I'd have killed, or I'd killed all the hippies in the foxholes...I would have killed everybody.'"

So, in summary, he can't shoot at anything that might shoot back. I don't know how any of you can find this guy anything but a pathetic un-american draft dodger.

Before you know it Ted will have a new Hit. The old Headbanger will soon sell many albums and he will once again be in the limelight.... Oh wait he already is!! Secret Service adore him..... Isn't that what he was going for anyways? HA and the Repubs fell for it and he got him a bunch of new aged headbangers.........Rock On!!

I usually don't comment on these political blogs, though I read and of course read the ridiculous comments.

"Out of my cold dead fingers" rings a bell for me. Everyone has heard that. I heard my sweet Mom say that once about her guns. And though I know her stance on Patriotism and being a respectful American (deplorably lacking these days) I was shocked to hear those words come out of my Mother's mouth. The way that she said it too, was quiet and 'matter of fact'. Not mocking (ha!) or goading..... She was simply stating a fact. Try to invade her home and monitor her lifestyle, regulate her guns, or anything else.... and that is going to be a problem. I believe that like Ted N. & Bazookaman, she'll die a proudly standing American, rather than on her knees EVER. EVER. And with that picture in mind, I would happily do the same, should anyone EVER EVER come close to making this happen to her, or anyone in my family. A person who loves their family and the country that we live in, shouldn't really even have to blink to know this about themselves. I'll die for them, anyone of them, die trying, or go to prison, with no backward glance. Should I be investigated? Whatever. I think that is likely along the lines of what Ted N. was saying.

Others can read into it what they figure can twist it to their own delight.

As far as any of the rest of Ted's headbanging.... this does not mean he can't love his country. As for his past.... people change...and grow up. You want to live in his past and hold everything against him? Glass houses

Jessie I have heard lots of different things being said and I have heard what your Mom said. I have also heard "not over my dead body" These phases I have never heard when talking about a president.

What Teddy Boy said was directed at Obama. That statement got the SS ears perked up and they had a chat with Teddy. I use "Teddy" I don't think he has grown up yet.

When someone spouts off like that, people do question what the meaning is!

Look at all the Nuts who have shot at celebrities and President's, killing and wounding some....

If that crazy made that statement against Romney I would think he was a whacko and I wouldn't surround the wagons.

I'm surprised you embrace negativity coming from an Aged Rocker.

There are so many other Rock & Country Stars who do so much more for our country. They are the positive ones I embrace.

Nugent has done more for our US troops than Mr. Obama. He says it like it is and has never pulled any punches. I would rather listen to Nugent than Obama any day.

Even if I were a "coward," I would at least have the decency to not want to send other people to fight in wars especially if I didn't want to fight myself.

Zook - You are a text book right wing individual who sees that the newer generation is moving away from your debunked ideology and is very upset about it. When you say something so blatently ridiculous as "Ted Nugent is worthy of Respect" and how he is some sort of American hero, then you are soundly defeated as to Ted Nugent's so-called patriotism, you resort to ad-hominem attacks. Is "atheist" an insult now and some sort of trump card to make my points any less valid? I thought you valued a free society with a freedom of and from religion. I guess that freedom only goes as far as those who agree with your religious views.

I really don't understand how in an advanced society such as ours, how religion is even brought up in any debate. It's really quite sad that your side even uses religious tests for all candidates for office which is clearly unconstitutional and beneath our societial values.

This society DOES allow us freedoms of religion, non religion, etc.... That does not mean that personally, we can't prefer our own Religion. I mentioned it in my comment earlier, (maybe on another blog) because it's important to ME. I'm allowed that. As are you not required to give a darn what I prefer.

Someone may be a coward .... but I am allowed to be pleased at behaviors later demonstrated. Those behaviors count too. Just as the cowardice earlier. Is it even possible for a person to rehabilitate, per se? To make amends?

These blogs are always so serious. I know some don't appreciate my sense of humor...Some times its a little dry, so pretty soon I will have me a rum and coke to top off the day. As the beer drinkers would ask "Is it beer time yet?" Yippee ! It's rum time for me........:>)

Ted Nugent is in the wrong business. Being that full of hot air, he should be using that to power a turbine, heat homes, or send balloons into the sky. If he is going to get all red in the face, might as well get something out of it.
