If it ever flew as a military bird.....the odds are pretty good you'll find one at the Air Force Museum, just outside the gate of Wright --Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. I'd stopped to visit our daughter and son-in-law on my car trip east to D.C. a couple of years ago, and took a little time to wander around in a museum I hadn't seen in about 20 years, which is always being added-to as more aircraft become available...
This is just a short tag on my last blog . By and large....the MAIN difference between my 2-branch military career, and my civilian life.......is the order of two words. On active duty, it was "YOU WILL!" But as a civilian.........."You will" immediately became "Will you?"...

It is no secret to my gun blog readers where I stand on the "automatics vs revolvers" issue. No need to go into it. But with that being said, I will say THIS: If for some reason I could only have ONE gun......and that gun HAD to be an automatic of some kind, but I at least had a choice in the matter....................

But too many of you out there HONOR it as such. Before we reached the stage of thinking for ourselves (something that many are still struggling with), we grew up in our "Democrat & Republican homes", where in-between the green beans, mashed potatoes and "pass the butter please", our 'innocent little ears" were filled up listening to our parents, grandparents, uncles & aunts discussing politics...
Who IS This Guy? Not that it matters now.......if he's "legit", people have wasted a lot of time & money.............and if he ISN'T........well, he pulled it off. Barack Obama is a "mystery man." The American people know LESS about this man than any other President before him, and while I've had my own thoughts about this "birther" thing, I let it go (publicly) quite awhile back...
Elect or Re-Elect Well.....here we are again, "sports fans".......no matter HOW the GOP Primary turns out, it's STILL going to be another "lesser of two evils" in November. Idiots who DEFENDED "Willie" & Monica INSIDE the Oval Office, suddenly got "moral" about the "alleged" personal lifestyle of a businessman 20 years ago before anyone ever heard of him..... and so Herman is gone...

There's a sort of standing joke on our block, that "if it ain't 40 years old, it don't sit in our driveway."
