  • Mike:

"Paranoia" looks so good on you! You wear it well my friend. You are right---something stinks. Please not 4 more years!!

  • Take time to smell the roses and to enjoy the day. The designs of evil men have been around since the beginning of time.

This sense of urgency that we are all feeling is a reality check, not paranoia.

    Have a good day Mike.

By reducing the military, it makes it a bit easier to have a "civilian army", as well funded and organized as the military. Kind of cheating eh? But then, maybe I'm paranoid too!

  • It is the arrogance and audacity that this administration displays that is so astounding.

You and my husband David should get together sometime. Oh, the conversations that you could have.

The politicians we elect are a reflection of our values. Sad isn't it.

  • Looks like the Obama regime isn't even waiting till after the elections to continue on with their agenda to transform America. This power grab is beyond mind-boggling. November can't come soon enough.

  • Absolutely no one is going to like what I have to say, but oh well. We as a country have been engaging in illegal conflicts since the end of the last world war. Since 2001, we have been at "War" against terror. A "War" more or less against a religion with over 1.6 Billion followers spread across the globe, including within our own country. Peacetime ceased to exist when we entered this "War on terror". Blame can be laid at the feet of every President and every Congress since the 1950's. Nobody raised a voice when our government decided to declare war on its own citizens. It is what it is. Now we get to live with the result of our collective actions or inactions.

  • Thanks for the clip, Buckshot. This interview could have been yesterday. People keep thinking there's a better system out there than capitalism/free enterprize system. There isn't, as Europe is finding out. People will only show their true potential when they are allowed to run their own lives. Charity and benevolence come from within, it can't be forced by the government. Americans give more to charity than other country in the world. But when the government takes the decision to give to others out of an individual's control, that's when charity and kindness to others stop and resentment starts building.

  • Well Mike, since your the only one to reply to my comment, it sure is funny how when it was just those foul evil Muslims that were targeted, nobody gave a hoot, including you. Now the uproar starts when it may be you. An American citizen is an American citizen, regardless of religion.

I watched it last night, Buckshot. I thought it was a good movie but, I had one problem with it. Since most of the characters talk with an accent, and I'm deaf in one ear, I had to keep asking my wife, "what'd they say!?" After about the third or fourth time of that, my wife wasn't having it anymore. She just started giving me those mean ol looks. You know, those ones that make you scared to death to ask anymore questions. So needless to say, I had to sit through the rest of the movie only catching about every 4th or 5th word.

Buckshot, I thought the movie was going to be about SSgt. Reckless but I was wrong. She was a highly decorated Marine and I think they should make a movie about her :)

In our living room, with the 16ft tall ceilings, it doesn't matter where I sit. The acoustics are just awful in there if you're half deaf. That's why most of the time I try to watch TV up in one of the bedrooms. I may have to invest in a surround sound system or just start wearing my hearing aid. Either one sure would cut down on some dirty looks from Donna :)
