A TRULY Independent “Independent”

It is very early in the morning, and I've got to hit the sack, but I need to post this short blog.

I got back home about an hour ago from a jam session that went well into the night, after most of the guys packed up and went home, I stayed and talked a bit with the host......a fellow I've known for decades, and have played music with from time to time, including tonight.

We talked politics for a bit, and he opened up pretty well.

Most "Independents" you'll ever meet, DO IN FACT lean to one side or the other.  If there was ever one who actually DOES look at both sides hard, it's THIS guy.  He's been that way all the years I've known him.

When I asked him what he thought about the upcoming election, he said he preferred not to think about it at all.........how they're ALL crooks.........and how we need to "Throw EVERY ONE of those "Bums" OUT!-----(He did NOT use the word "bum" as I often do, but the word he DID use also begins with a "B!")

What I thought was very cool, was that I KNOW he doesn't read my blogs, because he has no computer, nor any burning desire to GET one.

I  just sort of smirked and replied to him that......"I couldn't have said it better MYSELF!"

Maybe there's some hope after all.

Re-Elect NOBODY in 2012..........like Bill Cosby used to say, "It'll put a smile on your face."
