  • Mike, since you chose to single me out, up front I'll tell you what prompted my last blog. I got an e-mail with an attachment. I'm going to e-mail it to you since I don't think I can post it here. Where it came from doesn't matter. The overlays on the video do matter. This was a cheap hatchet job. I did the research to find the cause of the behavior. This is but 1 example of things that get sent around. The left is guilty as well as the right for this behavior, but WE are most guilty for passing things like this around without checking things out first.

  • Anyone else that wants to see the video, just post whatever e-mail address you want to use and I'll send it.

If the video is the one I'm guilty of forwarding, I have notified every one I sent it to....in one way or another.. of MY mistake.

I have heard back from some people who also saw it that I have never even met....

The concensus is that NOBODY'S Congressman should try to tell us that an island can tip over in an ocean because there are too many people on it..

The 2012 election should be quite a conflicted season for you bazookaman.

    1. Vote for a Democrat and you are labeled a nazi, socialists or communist.

    2. Vote for an incumbent and you are labeled stupid for putting them folks back in office.

    3. Vote straight ticket and you're labeled ignorant for not voting intelligently.

    4. As an Idaho voter, if you vote for any candidate without an (R) after his/her name, it's a wasted vote.

You appear to have only 2 choices in the upcoming election:

    1. Vote primarily Republican and waste one vote on an "alternative party" candidate.

    2. Don't vote.

  • To everyone, a member of Rep. Hank Johnson's staff explained that what he was trying to convey was his concern about adding up to 80,000 new residents on the island. He has already explained his difficulty with verbalizing at times. Maybe everyone would be happy if he used a teleprompter instead of trying to speak from the heart.

  • CJW,I have worked with people that have a hard time verbalizing and I have trusted them with my life! My grandson has a great deal of difficulty verbalizing, but when he puts it to paper it all comes out right.

Bazookaman: Some people have suggested your "message was totally lost on" me. I have to disagree with that statement. You have made it abundantly clear what your voting strategy will be in the coming election.

I have to take issue with your "throw em all out" strategy. Why? Take a look at our 2nd Congressional District in the upcoming election. Incumbent Congressman Simpson must get re-elected in my opinion. Why? Using the 2010 election results, the Independent candidate received less than 10% of the vote and the Democratic candidate received about 25% of the vote (this is from my memory). And the Democrat did not even want the office and hardly campaigned while getting 1/4 of all votes. Spin it however you wish, but a "Throw Simpson Out Because He is an Incumbent" vote will increase the chances the Democrats will pick up the Idaho 2nd Congressional District.

I have given you a hint as to my voting strategy for the 2nd CD will be. Maybe my message will be lost on some or all. Makes no difference as I have put just as much thought into it as I can at this stage of the game. The perfect storm of the "throw em all out" strategy combined with the Democrats offering up an extremely motivated 2nd CD candidate might just...well you get the picture.
