A Personal Letter To The “Hard Right” Only

(If you're a  "curious liberal", don't waste your time reading this.  You wouldn't understand it anyway).

"To my fellow MEAN-SPIRITED, RADICAL, NAZI, PARANOID,

CAPITALISTS, RACISTS, TERRORISTS, TEA-BAGGING, BIGOTED INFIDELS................."

............did I leave anybody out??......I certainly wouldn't want us to come up short on "representation," you know.

Guys......and gals.........somewhere down the line our party is going to come up with a candidate, more than likely Romney or Santorum.

At THIS POINT, you "straight-ticket" Republicans can go take a coffee break ..........because I'm really addressing the CONSERVATIVE base from this point forward, and it won't really apply to you because you guys are gonna do like the Democrats do---------(R), (R), (R), (R), (R).......etc.----just like THEY do with the (D)'s.

OK.........."Hard-righters"..........the guy we KNOW should be our candidate, will NOT BE......and we're gonna be stuck with Mitt, Rick or Newt.  The three of them TOGETHER wouldn't make a pimple on Reagan's butt, and we all know that.

We sat out by the tens of thousands in 2008, rather than support the RINO John McCain.  It was a "protest" against our own RNC, and it gave the Democrats a "win-win" situation before November ever came around.

McCain's nomination was a cold slap in the face to those of us who DO support our platform and our freedoms.  He has NEVER spoke for those of us who ARE true "right", and the election was basically "one Democrat running against ANOTHER one."  Had McCain WON, the left would STILL "have had a pretty good chunk of the White House."  The Dems couldn't lose, no matter WHO won it.

Ever so proud and bold, we would slap the RNC right BACK....and MAKE A STATEMENT.....that we would NOT support a RINO.  I MYSELF was so furious, that I TOO was set to join the "sit-down strike and not vote at all.............(I fully realized that if you DON'T vote, you can't gripe later)........but I didn't care at the time.  I was THAT mad.

Then came Sarah, not only as smart as she is pretty, but as a SUCCESSFUL governor, had MORE "Executive experience" than McCain, Obama & Biden put together............so with an honest-to-goodness CONSERVATIVE on the ticket..........some of us went ahead and supported the McCain ticket just to be able to have HER in the equation.

She's a ball of fire......deeply committed to saving this country.  A hard worker who would not be too likely to "sleep on the job"........eh Joe?........Joe?.........JOE!!"..........what a marvelous choice.

Well..............we made our statement fellas...........and gave Obama & Biden the keys to the doors.  No big deal, we could always vote them back OUT 4 years later, right?..........I mean-----how much damage  could they possibly do in just one term?

Is there any doubt in your minds today?  Is there??

Fellow "hard righters"-------------it's an ugly thought from where each of us stand--------Mitt, Rick, Newt---------spare me!

We've been looking for "another Reagan" right from the day he left office.   Ain't gonna happen, guys, there was only ONE, and he's a "pretty tough act to follow."

Guys.....I don't like it either.......I TRULY do NOT........but we CANNOT sit this next one out!  We are going to HAVE to back whatever bozo wins the nomination, and put out an all-out effort to get RID of as much of this old Congress as we can------including OUR "life termers."

We're gonna have to "suck it up" this time and support our candidate whether we like him or not.

Picture the scene------two old conservatives having coffee at Denny's one Saturday morning.  One guy grumbles, "I'll sit THIS one out too....before I'll vote for ROMNEY (or whoever).

The OTHER guy takes a sip of his coffee and replies, "So, you want ANOTHER 4 years of THIS administration?"-------------(silence falls across the table).

Ladies and gentlemen.........I'm farther "right" than Michael Savage ever thought of being.  I don't like this anymore than YOU do, but if we DON'T do everything we can to get Obama and his socialist crew OUT of there next year, we're gonna be mandated into oblivion.

This administration has steadily eroded this country, and they must NOT be allowed to "finish the job" they've started. 

I'm as sick of this "lesser of two evils" crap as YOU guys are, and "our potential candidates" do NOT begin to inspire my confidence...........but the last time we "made a statement" in 2008, it led to disaster.

We made ANOTHER "statement" in 2010, but didn't pick up the seats in the Senate to have really made a dent........(not to mention the fact that BOENNER  sold the country out too).

Harry Reid's crew needs to LOSE the Senate, and Obama needs to go-----(actually, just ONE or the OTHER would get the crap STOPPED).

But we're gonna have to shelve our pride this time, and support whoever gets the nod for our side.  Our pride and principles---no matter HOW "justified".........helped PUT this administration in power.

Obama will have the black vote (or most of it anyway), and you know that the 40% that pays no taxes at all, are gonna vote for him (*******"those who take from Peter to give to Paul, can always count on the support of Paul"******).  And he'll probably get a lot of the minority vote, although he HAS been hammered by a lot of folks who voted for him the first time.

But the number of registered Republicans, slightly outnumber the registered Democrats.  It was the SWING VOTERS who by & large made the difference in 2008.  There is good reason to believe that  the swing vote is going OUR way this time, but we can't count on that as a "given."

So I think it is VITAL that we don't get upset with the RNC again.....and NOT get so upset with the RNC's pick, that we just sit back and say "screw it" again.

Romney, Santorum-------or NO Romney & Santorum........we CANNOT SIT THIS ONE OUT.

Everyone of you have E-Mail contacts all over this country, and they in-turn ALSO have lots of contacts and so on.    Please fill them in on this blogsite, and encourage them to get out there in force, even if they have to grit their teeth and squint their eyes at the ballot box.

However upset we feel about our "lukewarm Republican" candidates, we've already HAD a 3-year taste of the alternative, haven't we?.........And there's no reason to believe a SECOND term will yield anything better, is there?

Any one of our guys would do a better job than the guy who's in there now. 

And that is no consolation.  I understand that.......I'm one of YOU.....I truly understand the sour pit in the stomach of having to "settle" for something, when we shouldn't HAVE to.

We need to give the RNC our full conservative-base support, whether they deserve it or not, because these socialist mandates HAVE TO BE STOPPED, before our grandkids end up having to pay for THIS administration's "ARROGANCE."

And if they DO........it'll be OUR fault as a "free people".....for allowing it to happen.

NOBODY STAYS HOME THIS TIME............This administration has had ENOUGH "free passes"..............they don't need any from US this time.
