We Just Pick on EVERYBODY, Don't We??

I'm not sure how to write this one.....stay calm....and NOT get THROWN off the blogsite at the same time.......

Now it would appear that the Saudis ARE coming to Mountain Home....so this will be yet ONE MORE "compromise" we're all gonna be forced to make, whether we want to or not.

Mr Cain took some flak because he DARED to stand with AMERICANS in Tennessee over that mosque business. Oh yes,yes...that was "SO UNFAIR."

I'm sick of this "melting pot" concept the left keeps trying to shove down our throats.

NOBODY in 1776 was using any "hyphens".....which is in itself a DIVISIVE word. Today we have Mexican-Americans, Asian-Americans, African-Americans-------------------------BALONEY! (a word Brenda & I agreed upon).

We're either AMERICANS or we're NOT. If that doesn't fit into your lifestyle, you're free to leave.

Everyone (including ME)......or our ANCESTORS, came over here from countries that were WAY worse off than even THIS one is today. Some came here to avoid persecution, some came here to avoid being shot, some came here to escape the ravages of living behind the "iron curtain, or to just be able to live a better life than where you came from to begin with.

And you're lucky to BE HERE!

But over these past few decades, many think we are supposed to bend over backwards to adopt THEIR customs and CATER to them. No we AREN'T.

THIS IS AMERICA!....Our national flag is the Stars & Stripes. NOT the flag of other nations....so if your "heritage" runs that deep........go back home & stay there.

Our National bird is the Eagle, and our national language is ENGLISH. Either learn to speak it, or come back when you HAVE. (I LOVE Bill Cosby's line of thought on that).

YOU are the "intruders" here, and we don't owe you a stinking thing, just because you chose to "grace us with your presence."

Then we have the liberals....the ones who call us "mean spirited terrorists" because we demand our country actually BE RUN the way it was intended. Listen closely, you band of socialists and socialist wannabe's out there......

If our FOUNDERS were content with government being our "mommy & daddy", there would never have been a revolt the FIRST TIME!

Those of us who are still FREE AMERICANS do not NEED "big brother" wiping our noses, tucking us into bed at night, peeping into our checking accounts and personal lives, telling us what we can eat, and taxing everything they can find in the dictionary.

So if you prefer a socialist or communist government THAT much, tell it to Castro, while you're moving into youe new hacienda down there. We don't want or need you here, and we won't miss you. Don't let the screen door hit you on the way out

Barack Obama...........the people you THINK are against him because he's black, are a lot of the same people who support Herman Cain TODAY, who is even BLACKER. So THAT old assumption just died, friend.

HUGE double-standard here.......you guys can hammer that "lying, murdering BUSH'", but Obama is supposed to get a free pass no matter WHAT he does.

"We want him to Fail"----------ANOTHER BUCKET OF "BALONEY" (see, I'm being GOOD, Brenda!)..........NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT FRIGGIN' MIND, wants ANY President to fail...........because when HE does......we pay for it! Even if you DON'T LIKE the dude, you don't want him to fail.......and neither does your BANK ACCOUNT.

"WANTING OBAMA TO FAIL".....was started by Rush Limbaugh, but the media (AS USUAL), never bothered to quote ALL of it. I don't care for Rush, but in his honest defense on this one........he said that he believed right from the beginning that Obama was trying to institute a "spread the wealth" SOCIALIST AGENDA, and if that turned out to be so......he WANTED THE PRESIDENT TO FAIL." I heard that over the radio myself a time or two. And in THAT content, I wanted him to fail TOO!

CNN, MSNBC, ABC and all the rest of the loony-tune outlets only broadcasted the........"I want this President to FAIL" portion of that. Which is normal for THEM.

I was going to respond to this on that other blog, but chose to save it for THIS one.

The RIGHT did NOT "marginalize" the president from Day-One.

HE HIMSELF did that. "FIRST IMPRESSIONS" are VITAL.......whether you're meeting your bride-to-be's parents for the first time........or greeting the ORI team when they land.

And the FIRST THING Obama did after taking office, was his worldwide "apology tour".

Now, to some folks out there, that might sound like a lot of commotion over just a simple plane trip....but you have to understand something here.........

When the majority of taxpayers in this country who have been shelling out money seemingly FOREVER to take care of everyone else.......and many have lost loved ones in combat on foreign shores defending THEM......for the PRESIDENT to go around belittling his own nation, apologizing for our ARROGANCE-----HIS WIFE calling us a "hateful nation", and HILLARY down there kissing Chavez' butt telling HIS crowd all about "what bad neighbors" we've been"------after 14 MILLION ILLEGALS are up here sponging off the system..........

You know what?.........that really wasn't the way to influence or gain any friends right off the bat.

Then came the government takeovers------whether they saved any jobs or not------NOBODY wants the government in their business.......neither corporate nor personal.

Next the government wants to run our healthcare for us too. By this time, people are REALLY getting uncomfortable.

When the GOP gets shut-out behind closed doors and a 2,000 page bill gets pushed through ANYWAY ("so we can find out what's in it" as Pelosi says), people are starting to really get heated-up.

Then Harry Reid gets his entire STATE "immuned" from it, and CO-OBAMACARE PUSHER PELOSI gets HER district exempt as well...........

.....but it's OK for the REST of us!!

Brewer asks for help at the border, and Obama turns Holder loose with a LAWSUIT against the STATE.

DADT-----------I won't even go INTO that!

Bin Laden's pig-blood body gets full honers on the Carl Vinson-------I guess I'd better not go into THAT either.

Biden will lead impeachment proceedings if Bush attacks a country unprovoked, but is SILENT a few years later when HIS "boss" does it. That's somehow "different" of course.

Gunrunner........Holder "knows nothing" while the gunshows get "pasted" over the last several years. And yes, we all remember Iran-Conta. But how about the F-15SE's we just sold the Saudi's....the ones that are MORE CAPABLE than OURS are? What's the difference?

In "Fast & Furious" though.....THESE guns are in the hands of the cartels who will march across our own borders if they get the chance.

Deja Vu---------let's go back to the initial marginalization. We've already looked at the first thing he did off the bat...........how about the "2nd Honeymoon"?

After waiting until the last minute to PANIC THIS NATION about the "debt ceiling DOOMSDAY" that is coming.....after scaring "grandma" clear out of her medicine cabinet, and preaching to the country over every television set he can reach about how bad off we are, how VITAL this all is, how the Republicans are "HOLDING AMERICA HOSTAGE"------(and EVERYONE on the left grabbed onto THAT one, didn't they?).............................................................................................................................after ALL THAT, and Boenner "caved-in"............

What's the VERY FIRST THING HE DOES??

A HUNDRED AND FIVE MILLION right out the door to Somalia........the country that provides SANCTUARY to these pirates.

After scaring this country half to death, he starts giving our tax dollars away AGAIN!

No Lamont....the "right" didn't "marginalize" him from Day-One..............he's done that both by HIMSELF, and with the help of his cohorts back there.

NOBODY is picking on Barack Obama, for lack of something better to do with their time. The man keeps DOING these things. Are we supposed to just "roll over" and pretend we don't SEE ANYTHING because he's Barack Obama?

But do you remember the talks we've had about all the name-calling on the blogs? How-----when they open up with things like "you idiot.....you moron.......you ignorant dummy.....etc.............the rest of what they have to say becomes non-essential?

...........that TOO would come under the heading of "First Impressions."

Well----this country has pretty much helped out the entire world from one generation to the next. We have given unselfishly of out time, money and a lot of blood. We've historically given MORE than everyone else COMBINED, so that "Apology Tour" cut very, very deep into a LOT of people.

To the rest of the world, the President of the United States is "perceived" to speak for the common realm of the American people. That "Tour" might have seemed unimportant to some, but as an American, I was personally insulted. As a Veteran, I was OUTRAGED!

And just to show you how LITTLE respect this guy has for US, Bro......at an EARLY point in his Presidency, he wanted the returning Gulf War vets to pay for their OWN HEALTHCARE, (and it doesn't matter that he didn't get to do it-----the point IS, that he WANTED to do it at ALL!)

And if you'll recall, they were still in the early stages of the debt ceiling fiasco, when they ALREADY started dipping into OUR military retirement pensions. Remember that?

He ain't cutting into Pedro's food stamps, education or medical care, down on the border, or foreign aid for countries that spit on us.

Trying to make our young warriors fund their OWN battle wounds, and taking some of YOUR retirement (and mine)......THAT didn't start with Bush!

That's THESE GUYS!

But we aren't attacking Obama for any other reason than for the job he has done (or in many cases, NOT done.} For the past three years, the leftwing and their "hip-pocketed" media have worked OVERTIME trying to affix blame in every other direction they can.

If this administration ITSELF had spent as much time DOING WHAT THEY WERE ELECTED TO DO, as they have trying to figure out "who's to blame" for this and that...........they might have actually managed to accomplish something.

So if all you folks on the left, think we're picking on Obama "just because"....(fill in the blank)......and some of you will probably go to your graves thinking that...........keep in mind there's a whole lot of us who are picking on ANOTHER black guy to WIN, and what was it that Dr. King said..........oh yeah, something about "content of his CHARACTER." With the coming of Mr. Cain, that "color" thing is gone.

Well zook, not much here I can disagree with. To tell you the gods honest truth, I'm not sure what I'm going to do if there isn't some real change as the result of the next election. While we may eventually balance the budget, I really don't think Americans as a whole have the stomach for what it will take to pay off the national debt, keeping taxes high enough to generate a 400 billion surplus every year until the debt is retired, about 30 years.

What do you think? Can you stomach what it will take for the next 3 generations to get rid of all this debt that was incurred by nothing short of madness? Will they be able to stomach it? It makes me sick to my stomach that my kids, grandkids, and great grandkids will be stuck paying this utterly stupid debt that was mostly incurred on our watch.

Mike, I think you may have missed my point. Even if we manage to balance the budget through the cuts you suggest and more if needed, there is still the issue of securing enough extra revenue(surplus)to start paying off the debt over 30 years. The 400 billion currently in the budget for debt service simply pays the interest. It will take 400 billion extra for almost 30 years to pay it off. The we want lower taxes people don't seem to understand that a sustained surplus for many years is required to get our financial house in order. It's going to take a beans and rice diet for 30 years to get our country where it should be. Most likely you and I will be long dead before this country is debt free, and not beholden to anyone. As long as we are in debt, our debtors call the shots, not us.

When it comes to the national debt, I am most likely the most far right person you may have met.

And as soon as we had a surplus, this country elected a bozo who proclaimed that the surplus was the peoples money and should be returned, and everybody said YES YES YES. And then we spent ourselves into oblivion. It happened before, even money says it will happen again.

Oh, one other thing. The only reason we had a surplus was because they had raid the SS trust fund again. Real numbers said we still had a deficit.

Homer, where in gods name did you ever get impression that I think I'm under taxed? The way things are now with the runaway spending, I'm over taxed! When the budget is cut to the bone, and only the necessities are being funded, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, National Defense, and our own infrastructure, then and only then would I gladly pay more in taxes to rid this country of it's debt!

As many times as I've said that, I don't get where you are coming from. I'm a moderate on social issues, so what? That has zero to do with taxes!!!
