A Pair to Draw to

Ok.......Jessie isn't here to toss the life preserver.....so my first one by myself will just be a simple pictorial of a pair of Donna's "toys", that she'll never take to work in the shopping-cart plateau of "Wally-World.

The gray one with the black stripes is a '66 Ford Mustang we found up in Middleton.  It ran.  That was about it, and it was a mess at the time.  To look at it today, you'd never have known it was the same car.

Although it RAN good, the front end steering was so bad, I didn't really DRIVE it back......it was more like I HERDED it!  But enough time & money will fix most things, and today it's finished, and won "Best 60's Car at the Mountain Home Auto Ranch Show a few months back.

It has a little "200" cubic inch "6" under the hood with Scott Drake split headers & dual exhaust.  Entirely different car that it was when we bought it.

The deep cherry car is a '72 Oldsmobile "442" that Donna found on a Montana Craigslist last year.   Although it ran & drove perfectly, we still trailered it back from Hamilton, Montana, as I never like to go long distance with ANY car I don't know.   All the "mechanics are done, and we just had it repainted about 5 weeks ago.

Because Donna isn't going to drive either one to work up there (and I wouldn't either),  I've made the 'supreme sacrifice" and have taken them out occasionally just to keep the batteries up in them.  "Dirty job", but I don't mind it a bit!

Now.....you can see the kind of cars that BAZOOKAMAN drives around..........................................................................................

Her "Daily driver" is this 67 Mercury Cougar, big block "390" (now under rebuild).  It'll be interesting when we get all of these cars finished-------she'll have to take the SHUTTLE BUS to work, so she doesn't have to park anything up there!
