An "Unexpected" Ally

As much as I've started enjoying writing NON-political stories again.............and WILL resume........sometimes ya just can't "pass one up!"

I'm not taking the time to go back over all the paragraphs of drivel and rhetoric, and it really doesn't matter WHO said it, but when I wrote about Maxine Waters getting on Obama.......then a couple of days later she told all of us Tea-Partiers where to go"..........one of our bloggers asked me something to the effect of, "how did I feel now about my "new hero (or hero-INE)...........?

..............JUST GREAT! She probably just helped SEALED THE DEAL for us next year.

Clueless as usual, the left has never taken the time to check out their "enemies." If they HAD, they'd see that the Tea-Parties are NOT a tool of the Republicans. Fact is, I'd be surprised if more than 30% of the partiers ARE GOP.

I have marched and rallied with some of these people, and you'll see more INDEPENDENTS, Constitution Party and Libertarians, than you will Republicans. I've even marched along with a few DEMOCRATS, as strange as THAT may seem.

Maxine looks at CNN as do MOST Dems, and when she sees a tea-party rally somewhere, I doubt that she realizes that for every ONE of those "flag-waving terrorists" she SEES------there are 200-300 MORE that she DOESN'T see, throughout the other 49 states. When you see the tens of thousands demobstrating in DC, there are 20 or 30 times that number of people who COULDN'T be there.......some in wheelchairs and walkers.....and due to the distance itself.

The Libertarians, Constitutionalists and all other Independents------------these people are commonly know as "SWING VOTERS"----------you know....the ones a president CANNOT get elected or RE-elected WITHOUT these days.

And she just stood in front of the whole nation and told the tea parties to "go straight to hell!" Not a real smart thing to do when you're gonna be NEEDING these same people next November.

If you study human behavior at all, Ms Waters' physical gesture and voice inflection also reflected the early signs of "panic" and "desperation." Like in the middle of a domestic disturbance where the husband or wife gets so flustered, that's ALL they can think of to scream at each other.

More people catagorized as "swing voters", make up the tea party membership than any other group, including the Republicans.

They are "Independents" because they don't trust the left or right. They are Libertarians because they don't trust the left or right. They are Constitionalists because they don't trust the left or right.

They march with the tea-parties to show their support and desire to turn this country back over to the PEOPLE, and because they are SICK of this "business as usual" garbage.

You'd have THOUGHT the left would have learned SOMETHING from last year's "shellacking." Nope.......sixty seats later, they STILL haven't heard the voice of the people. A combination of "arrogance" and "Ignorance.".......just keep TAXING, SPENDING and NAME-CALLING, boys...............your time is coming!

Reid & Pelosi called all of these groups NAZIs

Obama accused them of "holding the country hostage"

Biden called them "terrorists"

Now Waters tells them ALL to go STRAIGHT TO-------------

We've had OUR political women called whores, sluts, bimbos, Palin's daughter was being "knocked-up at the ball park", etc......

And I want to address something right here and now. Many of us on these blogs......INCLUDING ME.......have gotten over-zealous in the heat of the moment and gotten into some name-calling and labelling...........but NOT MANY people in this country have ever heard it, except for the ones who happen to read the Mountain Home blogsite.

But when you hear Hollywood celebrities.......with viewing audiences in the hundreds of MILLIONS.......and the ELITE of Washington-----(you know---the ones who are supposed to set some kind of EXAMPLE for the young people in America.....spewing out this crap.......how can ANYONE have the respect to continue to support them?

"NAZI"------Senate Majority Leader plus the House Speaker

"HOSTAGE holders"--------the President

"TERRORISTS"--------the VICE President

"WHORE"-------Governor Jerry Brown

The "B" word, "slut and Bimbo"------Joy Behar(the View)

Letterman & Mahar---seem to keep a running tab going on week-tp-week.

You don't hear that kind of language and other nasty vile venage used by any of OUR "elected elite", do you? But as long as it's against some CONSERVATIVE (particularly the WOMEN).........the Dems always get a FREE PASS from the media (except FOX)

Ok.....Obama is called a failure and a socialist by the upper tiers...............at least THAT isn't VULGAR and humanly demeaning.

If Jay Leno had made some sort of "knocked-up" remark about one of Joe Biden's daughters when HE was campaigning......NBC would have FIRED Jay the very next morning! But NBC is a liberal network, so Letterman still has a job-------again, and again, and again, doesn't he?

Our side at LEAST has enough PUBLIC respect, and common DECENCY, not to spew vulgarities at YOUR politicians or try to DEMEAN your women............THAT is in EXTREMELY bad taste.

And ONE of our women hasn't even been a THREAT in THREE YEARS now!.........your people need to GET A LIFE!

But to wrap this up.........yes, Maxine Waters IS a "new ALLY of ours and she doesn't even know it. She just slapped a HUGE contingient of voters that helped put her party over the top in 2008.....slapped 'em right in the face! NEXT year she's gonna have to explain to all of them why they should VOTE for the leftside!

In 2012......they're most likely going to tell HER "where to go"......and take a lot of her friends in congress WITH her.

In the meaantime......just keep right on talkin' sweetie!

I have some problems with Asians being linked in this. I read they are the second most affluent race in America and they had to come ten thousand miles to get here, not swim some river.

If we don't have a villain in the story, it seems as though we can invent one. However, common sense should prevail and we really should be examining everything individually and not wholesale. I say this for both sides.

We are still hitting each other's dogs and assuming that each of us has a mutt instead of a pedigree.

I still like Cain too. Whether he would make a good president or not, remains to be seen. But at least he would approach things from a business level and respect the opinions of others.

Well Mike, when it comes to Cain, I have 2 reservations. The first is if he still stands by his position regarding communities being able to infringe on the 1st amendment, and the second is who he would choose as a running mate. If he chooses from any of those also running now, then it would prove to me that he is willing to get into bed with whoever would gain him the most politically. My best guess is another election cycle where I will once again fill my ballot with none of the above.

I have always accepted it happens both ways.....I said it before.I AM AND EQUAL OPPERTUNITY BIGOT FIGHTER......I dont pick sides in that war.RIGHT is RIGHT WRONG IS WRONG....IF you miss interpreted that's on you.I will not shutup about it what happened to you is no less than anyone else who has been discrimnated against.Zook point is well taken and i do have a problem with gun owners being persecuted,and I dont like guns.That is not to say that zook or anyone else doesnt have right to own one.The judge with his predisposition to discriminate should not be a judge .The hurt these things do cannot be calculated.

I had a case once were 2 guys got busted for mj,both e-6 one black and one white.the white guy was being discharged with no retirement,the black guy got his retirement .I WAS SO ANGRY AND I STILL AM.BECAUSE IT WAS WRONG.I WENT TO THE SEC AF WITH IT AND LOST I AM STILL P.O..AS FAR AS I WAS CONCERNED IT WAS CLEAR DISCRIMNATION.BUT YOU KNOW WHAT HURT THE MOST. THE COMMANDER WANTED TO KNOW WHY I CARED BECAUSE IT WAS A WHITE GUY.SO WHEN YOU THROW GARBAGE AT ME MAYBE YOU NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ME.

WE can get past the past when all people become pro active in treating there fellow man with the same dignity and respect they want for themseleves and as they live there lives remember what you see is not always what you get.Try to see beyond,feel within,understand the how and why use the past as a reference to the future,not for the future.And the realization that everyone is the key to succes not just a chosen group.

I can only imagine what BHO's policies will be if he gets re-elected and doesn't have to worry about it. One can only hope we get enough seats in the senate to keep him from putting any more chains on the American way of life.

The biggest mistake this president has made is to spend us into a position we won't get out of.The only way we can get out of our position is to stop spending and that won't happen. Go back to the level of spending in 2008.Get rid of Obama care. Businesses would like that. There are three businesses in my family and I'm told with BHO in charge new hiring will not happen. Too many unknowns. Get rid of a president who had almost a billion in contributions, a lot of it from unions, lawyers and big business. Who is he representing, surely not me a common worker of 57 years, and he needs to spread my wealth around? It's all a vicious circle and nothing will be corrected in the future without big changes, and big changes are not going to happen. Too much money involved. It just doesn't matter who you vote for anymore, just a matter of how bad it is going to be based on who is elected. The economic future for our kids and grand kids doesn't look too good from where I sit. Just my opinion and I'm the worlds foremost authority on my opinion.

THE REPEAL OF GLASS /STEAGALL WAS THE MOST DESTRUCTIVE SELL OUT OF THE LAST DECADE.It gave our country to the banks.The economy is there ping pong ball.....they do something and then speculate against themseleves and make money when there ok and when there not.

I remember the Glass-Steagall repeal as being a large one sided vote in the senate. Maybe 90 to 10 in favor of repeal. But I still see some of the largest contributors to Obama are Citi and Goldman Sachs and isn't this administration laden with the exact people that were affected by the repeal of Glass-Seagall? I'm not smart enough to figure it all out without in depth study and I just don't have time. And if I reasearch I imagine it will be either The New York Times or the Huffington Post that will tell me what to think. These crooks are just like the rest of them and they love a divided country so they can take the money and run. I've seen 6000 stories on how Sarah Palin is an idiot and she isn't in a position to hurt me, but these elected crooks are bending people over everyday and the media carrying the water for them is mute.

MsM, I'm well aware of bundling. I'm very critical of elected government employees taking money from big companies, and people they expect to profit from now and into the future. The difference is I'll call Bush on it as fast as I'll call Obama on it and you won't. Another difference is that Obama ran on ending all this and has that happened? Do you think President Obama needs 1 billion dollars in his war chest to run for re-election. Also his number of fund raising events happens more often that once in a while. I think people should look deeply into Exelon and Obama connections. Do you think Mr Obama should spent a little more time working, and a little less campaigning with our present day economy. Mr Bush is not president and that is why his contributions were not addressed.

None of this should really surprise anyone familiar with Alveda King's history.

Alveda King has been on the campaign circuit for more than a decade pushing a discriminatory, anti-gay marriage, anti-abortion, hard right family values message. In 1998, she barnstormed the country speaking at rallies against gay rights legislation. Alveda wasn't the only King family member to stump for a hard right agenda in opposition to abortion and gay rights. Her cousin, Bernice King, MLK's daughter, has preached the heck and damnation line against what she considers heathens. In her view, that's liberals, progressives, feminists, gay rights advocates, and modern day civil rights leaders. In case anyone missed the King family connection, her group was named "King for America.

No Lamont I was trying to say that a week ago MS Waters was after Obama and a week later she is after every bank that made a loan sayig she is going to tax them out of business. Wall Street and banks were a major contibutor to Obama and now she is going to tax them out of business. I don't know about the rest of you but it's nice to be able to go to the bank. And to have the mind set that she can tax them out of business. Seems to have worked in other areas. This next quote is what got me.
