Hardly a person in a position to "find some kind of excuse to SHUTDOWN all communication networks that do NOT fall to their knees and toss "rose bouguets" at the "Annointed One's feet as he passes". He wrote a paper that Glenn Beck didn't like, so now he's being hounded.

Both the FCC and Lloyd have repeatedly contended that they are NOT in favor of the fairness doctrine and have no intention of bringing it back. The criticism of Lloyd is that in 2007 he wrote a report critical of conservative talk radio.

The Feds stepped in in Little Rock and Selma IN SPITE of the governors not to help them. In both Selma and Little Rock the governors were staunch segregationists.

George wallace, governor of Alabama, whos famous quote "In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny, and I say segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever" actually stood in the doorway of several schools to stop their integration. He stood by during the Selma to Montgomery marches and did nothing.

Orval Faubus, Governor of Arkansas at the time defied a unanimous decision by the Supreme Court and ordered the Arkansas National Guard to stop African American students from attending Little Rock Central High School. Eisenhower had to federalize the Arkansas National Guard and send in part of the 101st Airborne to protect the students. How did Faubus respond? He closed Little Rock high schools for a year.

I don't have issue with your little rants, you're entitled and yes some of what you have to say is truthful. Your opinion is your own and you're free to express it.

But when you mix in less than factual statements to bolster your arguments, you're actually no better than those politicians you rant against.

As to the lemonade story, the police are obligated to enforce local ordinances, they are not allowed to cherry pick which to enforce. If there is an issue it is a local one and quite frankly none of our business.

Billy Bob, were the feds responsible, or was this a beef with neighbors, HOA or local ordinances. If it wasn't the feds, then again it's none of our business.

As to foreign flags, there are many foreign flags flown in this country and I don't have an issue with that as long as protocol is followed and they fly lower than the stars and stripes.

To bring issues regarding small town politics to the table and present them as an overview of the United States is meaningless.

You implied in your blog that the flag incident was done with the consent of the government. It was in fact a take over of a government building by protesters, done while the local police stood by.

I do not condone the action, but do believe in full disclosure of the facts.

MtnHomer, my issue is not with the czars, nor is it with the messenger. It is with the MESSAGE. The message was false and misleading. Filled with "Anti-gun" "Radical Homosexual" "Anti-business" "Black Radical" rhetoric.

When you get past the rhetoric, and look at what is posted about these people, you'll see that the FACTS don't bear out the claims.

This administration has enough legitimate problems and credibility issues to attack without resorting to using underhanded smear tactics full of false information. Doing so just undermines your credibility and weakens any legitimate gripe or argument you might present.

These "czars" have been around since the Roosevelt administration and used by every successive president since then. The most recognized is the drug czar. But now all of a sudden because this administration uses them it's some kind of communist/socialist plot.

I'm disappointed in Cain... Down in Murfreesboro, Tn which is a town of 100,000 people. Out of that there's a group of about 600 people that are fear monger's and when they got wind of the Muslims wanting to build them a Mosque (which by the way the Muslims have been there since 97) because their congregation grew and they needed more room they became fearful. They think they might congregate to make terrorist plans against the United States...

Don't they realize they don't have to build a Mosque to make terrorist plans? They can meet up anywhere...... So they take it to court and the Judge says they can build their Mosque because they are citizens of our Country and they have that right just as any other religious group has.

Two wrongs do not make a right. Michele Bachman has conducted herself well and should be admired for that.

As for Obama. If you are stating his record as president so far, I am not sure it that is calling him names. If you are describing his behavior, I think that should pass too.

I personally wouldn't call him for supper, but that is just my opinion.

One thought kept coming to my mind these last few weeks so I looked it up to be official. I can't help but think we have several who continuously "call the kettle black"! Like I said, two wrongs do not make a right. And just because someone else called Obama a name does not mean that I think that it is right. Nor is it right for someone to call another candidate sexist names that cannot be mentioned on this page.

We all have a responsibility to mend our ways and as far as I am concerned it starts with me.

If Obama sets the tone for ridiculing and name-calling in a press conference or a speech, isn't he wrong too? And he has done this many times, including telling us where we can ride on the bus.

Somewhere the line has to be drawn from the top down and examples have to be set. I include myself in that catagory.

Zook the names I seen being called Obama on these blogs started over on Kim's blogs....... I had started reading the blogs (2009) and was shocked to read the names our President was being called by Citizens of this Country.....

I come from the old school and when married to a military man while active, I would never dare say those names being called the President.. If I did most likely my husband would of been thrown out of the service, If I had been caught..... I guess we have more freedom of speech today then we ever have had.... I can remember back during the Vietnam War and there were protest Marches all over the country. I at one time wanted to join one of those Marches and I was told because I was a spouse of a Military Man I couldn't do it.. From that I learned to have respect for any President and I try very hard to continue doing that.

And just for the record my Husband Pat of over 30 years was a viet nam vet who went there 4 times and had on one of those trips been shot over in Cambodia... He never got a metal because remember we were never there?

I'm still waiting for that long list of accomplishments from this administation that someone asked for? Probably waiting for one to happen.

This will be the most transparent admin in history. Jobs will return if only we spend trillions and print money and take over private business. And it has to be done now we can't wait. And now three times in the last week I hear him say it is Bush who caused this. He passes a health care plan that will bankrupt us. He clearly is ruining this country and some will gladly vote for him again. Put a conservative name on this blog and you will have three people rag on him right away and still defend this admin to no end.

The president asked for corporate loopholes to be closed. So whats wrong with that? The taxe cuts in place cost the nation 4.3 trillion over the last decade.I dont care about the cuts they are going to happen but you cant fix things based on cut alone.

How about moving incentives to bring jobs back from overseas,how about redundancy in government,how about the congress and the senate giving up there pay increases,how about them paying for there health care,how about you having to serve longer than 5 yrs to get a retirement ck from either of those bodys.there is no company in america that you get vested to retirement in 5 yrs.US the middle class should not have to pay for the ineptness of government.we did not pay for those wars as they were being prosecuted the bill is comming due now.Also the cost calculated for those wars leave out some important figure like continuing cost due to medical,insurance,contractor wages and guarantees and a host of other things,to include wear and tear on equipment retro fits, depo maint on a more frequent schedule, hi time replacments.i could go on.

This cannot be layed at the feet of just one administration and if you think one can fix that in 3 yrs you are sorely mistaken .If you see that as support you are wrong how about looking at it as reality.

I think this blog started out as"never let a crisis go to waste" I read that the President in trying to sell his tax raises said that he does not want and will not accept a deal in which he is asked to do nothing.He said he would be able to keep hundreds of thousands of dollars of income he doesn't need (he's rich). Maybe if he had to pay for his wife's expensive life style and pay for the 120,000 dollar "date night" or the million dollar trip to Africa or really big staffs instead of us the tax payer he wouldn't be so fast to say that. I think it was BHO who brought up his wealth and I've heard it so many times that I'm getting used to him saying he's rich.I could care less how he got his money. I remember Mr Clinton was like that too, always bringing up how much he was worth, and biting his lower lip trying to explain it to his followers (not nice to be rich and a liberal president). They both act like it is a crime to be rich and then grab as much as they can, in any way they can, and spend the working man's money like there is no tomorrow. I saw an article the other day that said 80 percent of Americans are mad with congress and the president. I'd be surprised if many can be re-elected in either place with those numbers.I'd trust business people much more than politicians as they hold so much more power over a person in a never ending grab for our money and control of our rights. I have lots of younger folks in my family who will end up living and working the rest of their lives to pay off this debt. Don't know if they will ever be able to pay off the debt if this administration is re-elected. Problem is a lot of people who get something for nothing can't wait to vote for him again.

Have any of you given any thought to why our Middle Class is Shrinking? I've been hearing talk a lot lately on TV about the middle class is getting smaller. We have more rich and more poor while there is less of the middle class.

I then heard on the news today that Idaho Senator Labrador held a meeting in Meridian to answer questions abut the crisis that's going on in our Country with the Debt and figuring out what cuts to make. One lady asked why we can't tax the rich? They cut Labrador's answer off so I didn't get to here what he had to say.

One thing I will say is I give him a big applause for holding that meeting. Not very many Politician's will do that.......

Yes and you don't have to own a large corporation to buy from other country's. When my business was going better then it is now I placed some orders with factory's over in China because they could produce hand made products faster then I could make them and I wanted to see what quality their products were.

I used to talk to many different people living over in China, once word gets out that you place orders with them, you get them all coming after you.

Most the ones I talked to were very young and one boy I talked to many times, he even called me once, and sent me pictures of when he went on vacation with him family. His family owned the factory that I bought from and he was their only child. He called me because he was wanting me to go to China to tour their factory.....

There was a girl that used to know when I was on my computer and she would im me and we would chat she lived somewhere in the middle of china, somewhere where it was very cold...

I stopped buying from them a few years back because of the shipping cost got to be way to much..

The only products I got from China was dog clothing. The quality was much better then you see in Walmart. The dog sweaters they sell at walmart are made on a machine and are thin. The ones I make and that I got from China were hand knit with good quality yarn. I'm an experienced knitter so they couldn't pass anything off on me as hand knit unless it was hand knit.

I will tell you what I think MsMarylin, Good for him. I have better things to do and think about than him,watch him, or believe much of what he says.In my thoughts he has always been a race monger. I have problems with going to get a half tank of gas in my old truck and paying 40 dollars yesterday and this admin wishing I had to pay more. I have a hard time getting up at 4 this morning on my day off to got work so those in Washington can go to Spain and spend millions.And they want to raise my taxes. I have a problem with my kids and grandkids living in a country that is changing so fast for the worse and there seems nothing I can do. As someone who has worked for 57 years in a row I'm tired MsMarylin of the spend other people's money that Washington is so good at. I'm tired of watching all my life as the second ammendment is always attacked by those that are so much smarter than me. I'm tired of people sitting on their butt and mooching off good hard working people. I'm tired of Washington in oh so many ways. Washington doesn't give anything to anybody they didn't take from somebody else. Guess I'm just tired.

I'll tell you what else I'm tired of, 6000 dollars a year for health care and with this admin's coming care probbaly a third more.

Can you believe that Boehner wants to only raise the debt ceiling until the end of the year. Geez if that gets passed, in about 5-6 months we get to run the movie again.......

Wasn't it this admin that extended the tax break on the "Rich" after reaming Bush before, during and after the election? And then when the economy is at the brink they extend it because a tax raise will ruin the economy. I saw Senator Reid say taxes are voluntary.He is one weierd dude.

I know the VA IS GUILTY MAINLY BECAUSE THEY OCCUPY OLD BUILDINGS WITH HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANCE,BOISE IS A GOOD EXAMPLE.so there are choices that have to be made but there are bigger fish to fry and more worthy.FALSE tax returns those are the criminal ones.lets start with the ones that are at least a million and go from there.VEGAS can pay for there own historical boneyard.....and hommer dont just pick out the ones in democratic districts.I know both sides are guilty and so do you.

I heard Holder was given a slide show last year on these gun sales. I also heard one arm of goverment was selling and another was wondering where the cartel got the guns and was doing an investigation into it.

THE gun investigation for political gain is going to get some agents killed .I would be willing to bet on it.Congress cant keep its mouth shut and therefore information will come out that will id agents under cover and they will die,and there familys.A kid died here some years back,and what they did to him was horrible come to find out he was related to someone who opened there mouth.So if REP ISSA was doing this investigation in secret OK but he's not and that is not good.....I hope they get them out before testimony..
