  • In my very humble opinion, the greatest service john mccain has performed for this country (post vietnam) was bringing sarah palin into the public eye. She is so feared by the left, and especially their obsequious lapdogs in the media, that they have continuously gone after her, even though she isn't running for anything. And sadly, she is sneered at and disparaged by the "regular"republicans, because they can't control her and make her toe the karl rove, george will party line. I don't think she wants to run or embrace anyone running as a third party candidate. I DO think she is acting as a harbinger, reminding the gop that they should never take the tea party voters for granted. They were given a mandate in the 2010 midterms to do specific things to try and stop this nation from going past the tipping point to oblivion. If they go back and nominate a business as usual candidate, they will be surprised at who doesn't go along with them. Paulin, cain, bachmann, demint, west, rubio --- these are the names the tea partiers are looking to to lead a truly conservative party. I, personally, would support a ticket that had any one or two of those names on it.

  • Herman cain was interviewed on glen beck's tv show today. This man is a breath of fresh air. No more business as usual. If enough voters hear his message in the early primary states, this could be a fascinating election cycle. Beck even gave cain a great slogan to oppose obama with, "YES WE CAIN!"
