WE have been through all of this already except for area 51.I assume that you feel that everything in terms of weapon sys. should be made public.I would have to disagree,the technology edge we now hold would be severly compromised.,Area 51 has done some very outstanding things to include the helo's that got BEN LADEN,to include the B-2,117 A,and the F-22,THE TECHNOLOGY FOR THE F-111A AND THE F-14.I am going to suggest to you that you talk to some people that have worked there.

Technology is our force multplier,we dont need to level the playing field by letting anyone know what we are developing.THAT IS MY OPINION.

Budget Cuts and Taxes.

Our politicians don't get anything accomplished except for running for office. If we took all of the funds that they raise for their campaigns, we could easily whittle down the national debt.

If we taxed celebrites for not having more sense than God Gave A Goose, we could whittle the debt down even more and keep our entitlement programs.

If we refused medical care and other programs to illegal aliens, our elderly would continue to get the medical care and retirment income that they are entitled to.

And lastly, if you really want to pay extra taxes to the goverment, we can supply you an option on your income taxes to write in the amount extra that you want to pay and please be sure that you include my share of the taxes.

And then I posted the other reply listed above, which does not make sense unless you read this first.

I've been hearing the same arguments by one side or the other for over 60 years. Never stopped to think about all the hunters in this country and the amout of different weapons they have. Sure nice to know hunters alone make up the largerest army in the world and knowing they all have ammo for all those guns. Did any of you see on the news today how our Government is wasting money on things we could care less about? I can't remember all the stuff but one item is the Government spend $500,000 on studing shrimp on a treadmill. I think we must interpret the Constitution as our society advances. For example, the 2nd Amendment (amendment = a change for the better) provides for the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

I think both sides put a spin to things and palin was not the only one picked on. Heck even when Bush was in office his family was picked on and that to me is different then if he was only running. Property values will never come back to what they were and the money the home owners had in their homes is gone. Trillions of dollars lost in personal money. We have spent (past tense) our grand kids money and put them so far in debt they will never have the life style we have had. We are not creating jobs except in government and we don't have an energy policy. We are living under an administration that has openly said our gas prices should reach European levels and we are well on our way. We have been duped by our government for far too long and it has gotten much worse under this administration.The regular worker needs some relief and he isn't getting it. When the media, lawyers, teacher's unions. labor unions, minorities, illegals, and welfare recipients are on one side it will be hard to make any changes in policy coming out of Washington. We will not be able to fund medicare, Obama care, SS benefits and much more in the not too distant future unless all our money is confiscated and I'm sure they will try. It doesn't look too good for the future of our country from where I sit.

We don't spend a lot of money on gas and we have 2 vehicles, I don't drive and we spend around $50-$60 a month on gas and we gas up at the Maverick. We have never had a gas bill over $100.00 even back in the 90's and still don't go over that.. Unless we take a trip then it will be more...

Talk to Pat's brother in Cali they just bought a new car $30,000 and they already have 2 nice vehicles. They live in a 3,000 sq ft home that they had build a few years back and don't seem to have any problem with the economy

Then my son who lives in NY bought a really nice home has 2 small boys and they don't seem to have a problem with the economy other then they noticed the cost of food has gone up.

I don't know but is it Mountain Home that feels the crunch more then other cities? I look around Mountain Home and see all the empty houses and all the empty stores and I know money is tight.The biggest reason is of coarse the base.

I feel the pain for those that lost their homes, and especially for the people down south, Missouri, tennessee, Arkansas and etc.

I am happy for what we have, as there are others that are far off worse then us.

I don't see the economy getting any better for a very long time. Who ever is the next President will be dealing with the same issue's we have now...

Bush spent way too much and acted like he had to do it to get along. He should have cut spending along with his tax cuts and I think some people would have liked him more.
