Our Miracle Girl Turns 9

I feel so lucky to be able to make this article. She's come so far in the last months .... I still look at her sometimes and choke up. * There is nothing less than a Miracle/Blessing Granted by God to explain that we still have this Treasure. * After all that we learned and the reports that we got, she came out ahead of it all. * She's healthy and as bright as the day is long. She loves to love, and loves to live. I want to be a part of every bit of it that I can.

She is still learning to braid and she asked Granpa to teach her how to braid 8 plaits. She has mastered 4, so now she wants to move on. By the end of the summer, I'm betting she will have 8 mastered, and make her first set of purple reins.

It takes lots of concentration, but she is up to the challenge. I have no doubts that she'll get it mastered.

Her birthday was April 6th, and though he life has taken on many changes, there are some things that will never change. We will always celebrate her birthday and Cherish the very fact that we still get to. Here she is hugging her Grandpa Clark.

She got a big 'sticker' of a horse to put on her bedroom wall. Imagine that!

She spend Spring Break in Nevada with her other side of the family. While she was there, she and her Grandma Donna found some crystals. Grandma Donna shaped this crystal into a Heart shape, and made it into a necklace for Jilly. It is one of her most treasured items.

A few days later, she is at my house. I had bought her a couple purple dresses, so she could choose one to wear to her Uncle Joey's wedding in July. I forgot to get photos of the first one she tried on, but I did get some of this one. And she's always willing to model for me, and naturally, always has a huge smile on her face!

Of course the dress had to be purple, to go with her purple boots.
