Typical August Evening

Posted Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 4:12 PM

We had picked these horses up a few days ago, and so on this particular evening, we were just out messing around, as we usually do on an evening. Sometimes, though we are tired at the end of the day, what is really relaxing is to go out and play with the kids and or horses. Much better than sitting and watching the "Boob Tube" This is the little yearling filly of Evan and Jess's, that was at our house for awhile. So, on this evening, she learns to be haltered and handled

Charlene had flown in from Georgia the day before, (and its a few days before we leave for Wyoming) so we of course, just do our normal stuff, and show her life with the Lehtos and Millers! She is loving every minute of it, and taking photos to share with her family at home, and to remember later. What is she taking photos of? Well, Wayne and a mini 'haltering clinic" and …...

Of course there are kids being loved on, and tormented….

Bigger little kids helping littler little kids. This is a great way to learn, by helping and teaching.

Sharon stops by to meet Charlene for a bit. They have met once (in Vegas during my wedding) These two are 2 of the best things in my life….EVER. They stand beside me and I can feel them all the time, though one is far away, they are both sisters to my heart.

Funny Story. Kenny Troutman was kinda short and wide in his grade school years. He wanted to ride Smokey our pony. His older brother was helping him on and he simply rolled over the other side. This happened two or three times.

I can't remember if he ever got to ride, but we tried.

My sister Bev following after my brothers jumping on Smokey approaching from the back end. They all made it, but Bev received a double kick from Smokey. He was tired of being jumped on by then.

Thank you Jessie for the beauty.

Maybe you can come out to see me at mom's when I get there. We could have our blog party there this year. think about it.

I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.
