Windows Live Writer

I find Windows Live Writer a darn convenient program.  I can do a blog with as many photos as I like, finish it now, finish it later.  Save it for when I'm ready to click "Publish"  Sometimes I might want to go back and add more, sometimes not.  If not, I may or may not have 2 or 3 blogs ready to publish at any given time.  I can add photos from my hard drive, or photos I find other places.  I could even upload videos, though I haven't done that as yet.  It checks my spelling, though frankly, I rarely need it.  I can make my fonts different, different colors, bold, italic, strikeout, underlined.....

I don't have to be online when I share my thoughts/photos. 

Cause I'm not always online. 

My blogs often take quite awhile to "Publish", so one of my favorite things about Live Writer, is that I can schedule it to "Publish" at a time when I know my computer will be able to sit undisturbed long enough to get it all done.  I could tell it to do it in the middle of the night, during the day or whenever.  I tell it what to do, it just does it, no questions asked.  My chosen time is during the day.  I could probably schedule a year in advance if I wanted.  I could do it during the night, but I like my computer packed up and ready to walk out the door when I'm ready.   I like it to work around my daily work life, not the other way around.  That is what is nice about good technology these days: it works around us.  It's as it should be I suppose.  That is a print screen capture, (showing this particular blog, and a date I might post it, though I could change my mind) and there along the right side is how to schedule a blog post.  Pretty awesome eh?
