Thanks! It's a disease to take photos of what's going on around me!

  • How fun is that ! Very lucky kids to have you as Grandma .....

I got a question for you. My neighbors have horses sometimes and they are forever moving horses. Sometimes they might have 5-6 and other times only one. Now they have one and he was put in their pasture the other day. I seen it running and running all over the place. Does that mean he is happy? While he was running he was bobbing his head up and down ?

Horses are just like people in many ways. Some are more active than others. So this lone single horse might be active and just like running around. OR, he is lonely and a bit nervously looking for a buddy. Horses are by nature a herd animal, and like to be together.

Who knows, ...but if he has lots of hay, water... he'll likely be happy and settle down soon.

  • Thanks Jess I was a bit worried because of the running. This is the first time I have seen their horses do that. He'll probably be moved in a couple days. Not sure why they are playing musical horses..... I don't know them that well to ask them. At least not yet lol!

We move horses alot. Some go to work, some come home for lessons. There are all kinds of reasons. I have one home right now, that was injured, he'll leave once healed completely. Or I've boarded horses, so those might be there for a couple days/weeks....

Just lots of reasons for lots of things!

  • I think they have a lot of horses among their family so what ever they are doing their always moving them. Maybe they board horses :)
