Californians Visit….Posted Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at 1:21 PM
You've heard of my friend Sharon of course. Sometimes we're glued at the hip. She visited several times this summer. The last time she came, she brought her nephew John and his girl friend, Jamie. They were visiting from California, so they were allll new to this type of life. So, off we went to the salt the calves! They were good sports, cuz ya know they had to lift the heavy bags and open and shut the gates...newbies ya know. Do you see anything wrong with this picture???? Look closely I am taking the picture from the other side of the gate. Which means, she is closing herself out! hahahahah Naturally, we let her do it, .... cuz that's how we roll Then we let John the boyfriend go help her. And this picture is kind of hilarious to me. I've never seen it done this way, but whatever! These Eagles were every where. Got a good shot of this one After making folks work, we figure it's only fair to take them to the lake for a small boat ride. Of course they have to help get the boat out, and all. No freebies around here! yep, those are my wading boots With several people goofing off in the boat, it gets a bit tippy. Jamie felt a need to show off and stand up for a bit of a stretch. I soooooo wanted to just jump out and leave them to their own devises, til I remember I had my "smart" phone in my pocket. It's not smart enough to swim safely, so I sat and endured the giggling To really give them good memories, we made sure to show them wild life on the way back to the house. What we don't do for guests And who doesn't love to see a baby of any kind? I photograph everyone I get my hands on these days, and of course I throw them on a horse to boot! How beautiful is that? John & Jamie Thanks for visiting! Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |
I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.
