  • Great pictures. Thank you for sharing. I too just "recovered" from yet another broken leg. Still not back 100% on my horse. This time it really hurt and I have found does not feel very good even if they say it is better (but not 100%). Broken bones are a drag. Oh well. Live to ride another day. Thanks again for the photos Jess.

Yes, Sharon's leg is badly broken. Several little pieces...and has 2 plates and lots of screws. She will never make it thru airport security.

What happened to break your leg? That's terrible!

I'm glad your enjoy the pics...no one ever says anything, so I wonder if they even look.... but I enjoy sharing, nevertheless.

  • Jessie,

Your pictures are great! I always enjoy them. I can't wait until my kids are old enough to participate in 4-H.

Christina! Good to hear from you. You will be another one who participated, and soon will have your own kids participate. I can't wait for that too!

    Thanks for commenting!

  • Jessie I always enjoy your pictures, I haven't been posting much in the past few weeks, busy with other things.

If you want more comments put something political in your blog and you will get them. HA ! I did that with my blog "Drill baby Drill" and I got more comments then ever before.........

I realize that political blogs get comments. My wish is to share what I feel is beautiful and have others see all the great things that are RIGHT HERE UNDER OUR NoSES.... in Mountain Home and surrounding areas. I love this town, this state, and this country.

I will say what aggravates me, is that if I said something ugly, I'd get comments....

But share something beautiful, and I can just feel folks shrugging their shoulders.... and yet... I persevere! Yay me!

  • Jessie,

Thank you for all of the time and energy you put in to lead these fortunate children. I appreciate that you spend the extra time to blog about the programs, and hope you spark some interest to bring more children into the program. Some of our horse leaders are absolutely gifted with thier knowledge of horses. Any child that has the opportunity to benefit is fortunate. In short, thank you for all you do. Thank you every volunteer to put in the time and effort to make this work for these young horsemen/horsewomen.
