A potential Olympian?Posted Monday, May 24, 2010, at 3:24 PM
This is a young girl here in Mtn. Home. She LOVES LOVES LOVES horses, and has been riding with us for about a month. She rides Planet, a mare of mine.... Planet is also the "Instructor" for my Grandsons.... and a few other students. She has jumped alot, and now she's teaching others. I'm so proud of both of them! Doing a little bit of warm up. Going over poles I love this pic, but disappointed we can't see her face!
This shows how pleased both horse and rider are. The picture below reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor in National Velvet. We also always practice slow work backing thru "L" and side passing over poles. I really really love seeing a young rider try hard. Even at slow stuff. So many just want to go fast. Al really wants to do things "right" ....and she does. This youngster is one of my Grand daughters. She's also a lover of horses and says she is going to "move in" with them. She is riding "Brownie" ...the horse she named.
Also, going over jumps.... just a bit slower Givin' her horse a hug I still invite others to come and take a look.... it's wonderful!

I am interested in this Community, County, and the beautiful state of Idaho. Most of my photos will be in Idaho, but from time to time, they will be my vacations aay from Idaho. You'll see lots of my Children and Grand children, along with others in my family. Of course there will be horses and horse related things, and things I photo'd horseback.

angier, really? On a public forum? On a public forum? Really? You are divorced. Get over it already. This is not the place. Tacky-tacky-tacky. Have some class.
Both girls look lovely.....bravo for you and Wayne to encourage this activity....all children need solid roll models in their lives and someone to encourage them. Good Job !
Thanks OM, I appreciate that.
gfhorses.... they do look lovely without a doubt. I wish more children had the opportunity to ride and have fun times with horses, and I will NEVER quit encouraging any of them the way I see as best for them.
Thanks!
Jessie
Jessie and Wayne teach everyone outstanding horsemanship, respect, love and a lot of self worth. I am proud to call them both friends and "solid role models" in not only my childs life, but many other childrens lives. Thank you.
idpotatoes83647, Thank you very much, that was one of the nicest things to say. And it's really all we intend.
I have always taught children, and been extremely involved in 4-H. That isn't going to change, and the children I've called "mine" over the years will always be mine. That is not going to change either. What I call them, doesn't really affect how I feel about them, or them about me.
Jessie
Jessie-You and Wayne are absolutely wonderful with the kids and everything else. I have seen your work and what you do for all the kids. Im happy to call you friends.....
Such wonderful photos of my favorite things, horses & kids. These children are fortunate to have you and Wayne as mentors, as I am that you are my friends. Thank you for all you do for everyone!
