Do you Remember this Cowboy Statue

Where was/is he?

Does anyone remember what business this guy stood at many many years ago? I'm talking many many years ago. I saw this on my trip this last weekend, and shot the photo on my way back home. This could be a 2 part quiz, where is he now? A hint for where he is now, is I was on my way to Oakley, for the Ranch Rodeo there.

P.S. I believe back when he was in Mtn. Home, he held an axe, instead of a Stop sign.

I so want to say the old Mountain Home Auto Ranch on Airbase Rd but that is more than likely wrong. Maybe when Grant Peterson had a dealership here where Thrifty Car Sales is now. Am I close?

I actually can't say it wasn't there...it may have been used at more than one place. But the place I know it was at was a burger joint.

Yep, He stood at the Hungry Onion. He held an Ax. Surely someone else remembers? I saw him right next to the Hiway, ...if it's not the very same guy, it's just like him. Brought back memories....even memories of the statue of Paul Bunyan in Redwood CA. Good guess Marilyn!

He's on the interstate now between the Wendell exits if it's the same one.

ha ha ! Enjoyed this very much........ I even got a picture of me and some of our kids sitting on Paul Bunyan in Redwood Ca....... Nice old memories!
