I've lived in Mtn Home since 1989, so that's...hold on...I'm thinking...WOW! Exactly 25 years! Boy, I think I can almost declare myself an Idahoan. But my family is British and I grew up in Louisiana around lots of other Brits so I still think I'm a little bit of a mutt. Those of you who have been around awhile may remember when I used to blog all the time. My opinions weren't very accepted and there was always an issue because I work for the county. That really wasn't fair because I NEVER blog at work! And I am still entitled to my opinions and thoughts about city and county issues, right? However, it stirred a lot of pots and those pots certainly can make a lot of noise! Since I'm a writer, I took what I wrote in my blog seriously so I spent a lot of time researching things which got exhausting to do when you're not even get a paycheck for it. So I stopped. That was a blessing to many! However, to this day, I still have people stop me and ask me why I wasn't blogging and t! hey missed it. I've missed it. Mainly because there are so many issues that come up and I have no voice except around my friends and I'm sure they are tired of it.

Yes, in this present age of dangerous minds, I have made up my own word. And thank you so much for catching it in my last post. Great eye!

OBLIVIA: Those under the spell of the current government are in a state of oblivia.

OB- for OBAMA but I really think that I meant:

OB which literally means Gulf of. (Obama Gulf?) and a Gulf is a deep hollow; chasm or abyss or a wide separation; or something that engulfs or swallows up. (you pick which one that fits the best. It all works!)

LIV- for Living In Vain-a life that is worthless or ineffectual. Resistance is futile!

I: as in me or you.

A: for absolute which means interestingly enough, unrestrained or unlimited by a constitution, counterbalancing group, etc., in the exercise of governmental power, esp. when arbitrary or despotic: an absolute monarch.

Perpetual struggles are upon us! Perpetual: lasting an indefinitely long time. Let us hope that the majority will not be living in the days of perpetual oblivia!

If memory serves me. I think that England tried to do the same thing. Germany was a big force and Chamberlain thought that if he bowed to them and dearmed as well as cut the military, that Hitler would take it in stride and back off. Chamberlain actually thought that showing goodwill and a less violent army it would show how wonderful a country they were. Of course, we all know that his own liberal party wised up and outsed him. Too bad it wasn't in time to save the lives of alot of their people. The only way to make a bully leave you alone is to step up and show that you can beat the crap out of him. Then and only then will you be safe. What a moron anyone is to think that being a whimpy "peacemaker" will bring peace. History teaches us! Why won't we learn?

I was serious what I said about having a tea party in Carl Miller Park. If you have that much passion in how our country is being run let your voice be heard in a public setting.

Business is slow which is kind of nice gives me more time to do other things I haven't been able to do. I just finished a superman sweater for a customer and trying to raise money for a friend who fell down the stairs backwards and broke both her arms. She made a living sewing and now she can't sew. I put some stuff on Ebay and any thing that sells I am sending the money to her.

Yo Bazookaman the majority of those people in searchlight took time from their gambling to see the very ever entertaining Sara. Some little old ladys were interviewed as saying they weren't into politics they just come to see Sara and get her autograph I guess they weren't sure what kind of tea party they were going to HA HA !

Well of coarse they didn't walk across the street to see Reid they were there to see Sara. However just because they were there doesn't mean they will vote for her.... She's a celebrity :)
