EPA's Devious Power

Posted Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at 7:56 AM

The man-caused global warming fraud and there have been plenty of scientist who have exposed it as a hoax. Now Al Gore is going to be teaching our kids in schools about it! His "theory" is being taught as truth. So listen to this next bit of information.

Carbon Dioxide is not a pollutant as the EPA has ruled, but the EPA will implement Cap and Trade without Congressional approval because CO2 falls under The Clean Air Act. This must be stopped.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is implementing the Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Cap and Trade regulations without congressional approval. The EPA revealed that it ruled against sound scientific advice and in favor of the lie that CO2 is a pollutant and that it causes global warming. Now, they are using The Clean Air Act to regulate U.S. industry out of business or force them overseas resulting in more job losses. Smart move, people! If these idiots can't get what they want from Copenhagen and our government, then they find a way to do it.

Over 31,480 U.S. scientists including over 9,000 Ph.D.'s have signed a petition (www.petitionproject.org) that CO2 and man are not causing global warming and the instead are trying to get the truth out. What is that truth? There are benefits that extra CO2 gives us. It is needed to increase crop production. CO2 is not a pollutant, but is necessary for life on the planet. CO2 plus water and sunlight in green plants produces the oxygen we need to breathe and the food we eat. The EPA wants to take away exactly what we need to survive on this planet.

The Wall Street Journal's Keith Johnson noted that there are some positive effects of rising greenhouse gases: "One is faster-growing trees in tropical forests, which helps offset deforestation. Another is marshes that can more quickly grow above rising sea levels, providing an insurance policy of sorts for some low-lying areas against the potential ravages of rising sea levels resulting from warmer global temperatures."

"All scientists know CO2 is as essential to life as oxygen and water. Carbon dioxide is omnipresent and absolutely essential to plant growth. In growing, plants breathe in carbon dioxide, use the carbon portion to build their structure (biomass), and exhale oxygen and water vapor. In turn, animals breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon dioxide, and carbon dioxide's "circle of life" continues.

But despite a run-up in atmospheric CO2 content since the Industrial Revolution (after 1700 A.D.), CO2 and greenhouse gases other than water vapor still only make up less than 0.03 percent of the total atmosphere." http://www.expresswaysonline.com/expwys/...

According to the Heartland Institute, the real climate change scientists have met three times at climate conferences in Times Square, New York and Washington, D.C. See www.heartlandinstitute.org. They presented scientific information refuting man-caused global warming and that the sun, going through cycles, is the main cause. The planet is cooling now! The fraud that was exposed with emails that were discovered between scientist who were altering numbers in order to support their "theory" should have made people wake up and look for truth. As usual, the truth was nonexistent in the main stream media. While we are distracted by healthcare reform and dirty politics, the EPA is going to regulate CO2, a living giving need and cause more industry to move out of America.

The Copenhagen Treaty is much worse than the Kyoto climate treaty, which was rejected by the U.S. Senate by a vote of 95 -- 0, since it would destroy U.S. industry. This new treaty destroys our independence as well and paves the way for global government under the United Nations. People need to get in an uproar! Watch what is happening under the radar. We must abolish the EPA's power and get the heck out of the UN.

Resurrect HR 1146: (2/16/2007--Introduced but died.) American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2007 - Repeals the United Nations Participation Act of 1945 and other specified related laws.

ANYTHING the U.N. is involved in, is BAD for AMERICA. I have long advocated our getting OUT of the U.N., and EVICTING the U.N.from our shores.

As for global warming itself, I wonder where Gore was a week or so ago, when it was 6 below and I was scraping ice off my windshield. They're being BURIED in snow in a lot of places back east.................but hell, how can you argue with yet ANOTHER "Nobel Peace Prize winner------not to mention----------the "inverntor of the internet?"

Al Gore is a legend in his own mind.

HR 1146 will never be considered under Obama's Politiboro. Most if not ALL of the Democrat Party (and sadly, even some of the GOP), is in bed with the U.N. Not surprisingly, it was the LEFT side that got us involved with these communists in the first place.

Do you ever wonder if OTHER countries have an "EPA"?????....or is it just US (as always), who is expected to carry the bulk of the load and spend the bulk of the money to cover everyone else?

What lies. Al Gore's movie was not theory, but based on the facts of science. Co2 is a heat trapping gas that is now bringing our ecosystems including our oceans and glaciers dangerously close to a tipping point. You would understand that if you were truly more concerned with this planet than with trashing a good man who has done nothing all of these years but advocate for the sustainability of this planet. The only thing we need to stop is the incessant juvenile whining of climate deniers who have unleashed the true climate hoax on the USA with their blatant ignorance of science.

Dear CDAL: You are very entitled to your opinion, as am I. There have been more scientist coming "OUT" of the Global Warming Farce every day. This has been a means to an end for Gore and all of the scientist who started this hysteria. This has been a money making deal from the get-go. Now, I do believe that we have to take care of our planet. It is obvious that we can't pollute the soil, air and the water with harmful chemicals. I do agree that man has done alot of damage that must be undone. I believe in finding clean fuel and stopping the chemicals being used to kill off our soil. There are plenty of things that we need to continue to clean up. However, Global warming is another story. Years ago, scientist were reporting that we were headed for a new ice age and predicted that we would already be in the midst of it by now. Do you not see that they were wrong, yet were just as convincing back then as the global warming disciples are now? Seek and you will find plenty of evidence against it. We need to stop throwing money at this and focus on what we really needed to survive such as sustainable agriculture, clean fuels, plenty of jobs, live-giving abundent water supplies, and affordable essentials for raising a family. What good is sinking millions and trillions into global warming while your country's people are starving, unemployed and losing their homes?

climatedeniersareliars,

Are you talking about the same "noble" character that lived in a huge sprawling estate and rode around in a gas guzzling SUV caravan while telling everyone else to carpool and ride bikes to work?

WOW!!! Um DUH!!! Face it the jerk made a mint out of spreading his BS and riding the global warming farce.

Really catchy name though LOL

-- Posted by cant justwatch on Tue, Dec 29, 2009, at 10:42 PM

CDAL, you could have stopped your statement with "A man who has done nothing all of these years" and that would have been the only truthful statement you made. His "film" was a fantasy. The science used has now been shown to be incomplete and most likely a lie in itself. So called scientist have buried evidence that could have debunked their findings just so they could support Mr. Gore's pet project.

Listening to scientists who aren't addicted to the kool-aid have been saying all along the fuzzy science Gore was using wasn't the truth. Now who's truth is inconvenient? Having lived in an area that harbored it's share of environmentalists I can tell you that the logic used to support their cause has always been skewed. They want to save the bull trout yet it's the same bull trout that dines on the the sockeye and chinook salmon that are on the endangered list. They want the brook trout removed from our streams because it's a non-native species yet they introduce Canadian Gray Wolves into out mountains. These wolves are genetically different from the native wolves in Idaho. They protest and sue the US Forest Service for logging old growth timber then want the same Forest Service to save their home when a forest fire rages through deep under growth towards their log cabins. HYPOCRISY!!!!

THINK people. This is the natural ebb and flow of our environment. Mother Nature self adjusts all the time to correct the imbalance. If after thousands of years we haven't figured out how to stop floods, turn hurricanes, or tamp down an earthquake how do you figure that we can change the tempurature around us in the few years each of us are given on this planet.

Tell me CDAL, how is CO2 any more a planet warming gas than say oxygen? Is the levels of CO2 higher now than they have been in previous years? What about nitrogen? Argon?

Having been a EMT, I know that to sustain life there must be between 18-21% oxygen in the atmosphere. Any less and people start to die. True you can adapt over time to lower levels, they do it when the climb Everest, but you cannot do it forever. The chemical make up of our atmosphere is primarliy nitrogen, 78%, oxygen, 21% and argon, less than 1%. Carbon Dioxide makes up aroun .038%. Show me the science where this has changed dramatically over the past 100 years? 50 years? 10 years? If what is said is true, then a dramatic change in CO2 would mean that we have given all the plant life on this planet the equivilent of a McDonalds to feed on daily. And as we have seen from another great film...eating McDonalds does nothing but make you fatter. So if that were the case then plant life on this planet would have increased in size and scope. Yet becasue of global warming we are told that deserts are getting bigger, glaciers are melting and that all life is in danger.....BS!!

CDAL, Take a big spoonful of reality and answer honestly how much effect our small nation can have on the environment when nations suchs as Russia and China do nothing to decrease the amount of pollutants the spew into the air. Remember that 1.3 BILLION Chinese must spew TONS of CO2 daily. And while your at it...do something about all those nasty volcanoes that keep polluting the air. Good Luck!

-- Posted by mhbouncer on Tue, Dec 29, 2009, at 11:32 PM

Oh, but didn't you know that all these other giant nations are kicking in MILLIONS to the poorer countries, just as WE are?

Didn't know that? Neither did I.

It's always US. Always. When there's a disaster and the U.N. yells "emergency" it's US. When there's a mini-war brewing somewhere and the U.N. calls for action.........it's US.

We pay the lion's share of their operating costs, and now once again at this climate meeting........it's US who will pay for OTHERS, and US who will be fined if our OWN emissions aren't up to "Copenhagen Code."

Just like it's US who will now pay for NEBRASKA's "Medicaid", so Reid could have his 60th vote.

This administration has obviously done a magnificent job with the economy if we can not only give all this away..........AND.........give Fannie and Freddie a blank check to boot, eh?

Makes me proud to be a taxpayer!............oh no, actually, the phrase is "Patriotic to pay more taxes"...............straight from the camcorded lips of Joe Biden.

Al Gore is just another worthless liberal who should be deported along with the illegals.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Wed, Dec 30, 2009, at 7:32 AM

I'm sick and tired of this government stealing from us to pay for everybody else.

I'm not singling out Obama for this...........it's been going on for a long time, but this administration has really sped it up! As far as I'm concerned, this entire congress should be voted OUT!

Right down to the last thief, and start with a clean slate.

We WON'T of course, 'cause we're too pre-trained and pre-programmed to think for ourselves.....(52% of us are, anyway).

You lefties out there...........when our kids and grandkids ask us why things are so crappy and why they are burdened with so much debt they never created, I'm gonna tell them that OUR side did the best we could to try to STOP this insanity.

What are YOU guys gonna tell YOUR grandkids? Gonna lie to THEM too?

Not to change the subject, but California wants a grant to provide gps's to Mexico so the illegals can find the water stations and won't die of thirst while they're trying to sneak in.

Watch it happen............and maybe Napolitano will get the Nobel NEXT year!

-- Posted by bazookaman on Wed, Dec 30, 2009, at 8:00 AM

Don't knock the GPS idea....if you can track a weak cell phone signal to locate a couple who relied on their GPS then maybe we can use the uplink signal to locate where these illegals are and give them a trip back across the border. Sorry..was thinking outside the box.

-- Posted by mhbouncer on Wed, Dec 30, 2009, at 9:57 AM

As i stated before, there were/are some telling signs that global warming was/is an active phenomenon. Greenland, Svalbard, etc. have grown in size. Size being land not covered in ice. This may have just been a random era in the grand scheme. Whether or not, man created this or not is not my realm of expertise. Economically, regulating CO2 would be very costly. I am not sure of the benefits that would accrue if CO2 was lessened. There is obviously more to the story but why would any politically minded person want to admit that.

-- Posted by twilcox1978 on Wed, Dec 30, 2009, at 10:18 AM

Bazooka---

I was wondering if you caught that blurb on the water stations. Did you also catch how they called them immigrants as opposed to illegal immigrants? I, myself, consider "immigrants" people who have turned in their paperwork to become citizens and are waiting on their status to change. Or those who must come to the US because they "helped" the US in some way and now their own country wants to kill them or put them on trial for treason, etc. I do not consider people who walk/run/drive across a border to defraud US taxpayers immigrants. Just me.

Water stations?!?! Why not just do away with border patrol and let all of them in and make them citizens----OH WAIT...THAT IS WHAT WE ARE DOING NOW ANYWAY. The "immigrants" will end up in the US and US citizens will end up departing for Costa Rica, etc. Yes, change I believe in for sure. I hope I will be allowed to own my shorts when this is all over.

-- Posted by OpinionMissy on Wed, Dec 30, 2009, at 10:48 AM

Yeah, I caught it. This administration will probably set 'em up with FOOD down there next.

They won't use that term "illegal" any more than they'll ever call "TERRORISM" what it is.

If I were the president, (and it's a good thing for the liberal pukes I'm NOT).........I would fire Janet Napolitano IMMEDIATELY, and put Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio in charge of Homeland Security. I would give him free rein..........whatever equpiment and personnel he needed, and NO government intervention.

The main drawback to socialism, is that you eventually run out of spending everybody else's money. This is a free country (or leastwise it USED to be).....and if the pot-smokers and tree huggers want to help the whales, owls and illegals, let 'em do it out of their OWN pockets!

Bewildering as it might seem to them, not EVERYBODY in this country shares these same priorities. If I wanted to give MY tax dollars to Nebraska, Europe, Transylvania, refugee funds, ACORN, Copenhagan and the OTHER couple of hundred "waste of time/money programs", I would DONATE a few bucks MYSELF.............PERSONALLY.

I don't want the government taking what ISN'T THEIRS to begin with, and blowing it on crap that I would NOT. They are in D.C. to represent us......not to rob us. We need to put a stop to this...........which reminds me, Missy, I've got an EMail to forward to you, so I'll do that right now while I'm thinking about it.

Thanks Bazooka. I will be looking for that. Happy New Year to you and your family! Take care!

What could possibly have ended the last ice age?

-- Posted by junkyard dog on Thu, Dec 31, 2009, at 5:59 PM

The "Cash for Icebergs" program.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Thu, Dec 31, 2009, at 7:05 PM

Good one Zooka! Once again "change" (cha ching) that we can believe in. Just like the new IRS tax table which provides for higher taxes! Surprise-surprise. Most of the country can hardly get by and now the feds will take more from our checks (which includes taxable retirement funds/accounts). Happy freakin new year indeed!

-- Posted by OpinionMissy on Fri, Jan 1, 2010, at 10:10 AM

I've said for years, if there had been environmentalists during the time of the dinosaurs, we would still have dinosaurs. It's called the natural ebb and flow of earth. Things constantly change to allow natural evolution of species. Some go away...some change and some new ones are born. There's not one dang thing we can do about it. As for the last Ice age, I'm guessing dinosaur farts...best I can come up with..lol

As our founders would EASILY say today.........."It's time to blow the dust off the muckets."

Long day.

Isn't the by-product of a nuclear war a nuclear winter. Wouldn't that stop global warming? Not that I want one but seems to me if someone doesn't take care of Iran and soon, the Isrealis will and then we don't have to worry about global warming...ooops...Climate Change!!

Obama has made it quite clear in his statements that the US is no longer the friend to Isreal that we once were. Doubtful they will listen to a spineless politician when it comes to their safety.

-- Posted by mhbouncer on Sat, Jan 2, 2010, at 10:38 AM

Israel KNOWS Obama is spineless. he took FOREVER to make any kind of decision at ALL for our OWN troops.............and practically had to be SHAMED out of his golf games to do THAT.

Israel knows they cannot and DARE not rely on us to keep the Iranian nutjobs out of their yard.

I've said it before and continue to HOLD TO IT...........there's been NO guts in that White House since Reagan.............and NO REASON to believe there WILL be anytime soon.

-- Posted by bazookaman on Sat, Jan 2, 2010, at 1:44 PM

HEY...where did CDAL go?...I think it was censored under an assumed name! Nice that someone comes on here and tries to start an argument and when confronted with FACTS runs and hides..typical liberal BS.

-- Posted by mhbouncer on Sun, Jan 3, 2010, at 11:47 PM

Isarel are going to be forced to use all of their resources to defend themselves because our President is looking the other way. Before him, at least, our government were backing them and therefore keeping all out world war. Now, I think, this Patsy of a President will do what the enemy have wanted all along, abandon the Jews and wash his hands as Israel is slaughtered or forced to use a nuclear weapon. What kind of chain reaction could that start? (Time 7:14am)

-- Posted by kimkovac on Mon, Jan 4, 2010, at 7:15 AM

Israel can handle itself. They aren't PC, and don't lack for spine. Up until Obama, they've been the truest allies we've probably ever had. They'd side with US if we needed them (probably past tense now).

And they wouldn't need 3 months of parliament conferences to "talk" about it first. THAT'S the kind of allies THEY have always been.

But the "Annointed" one PATS the backs of the bad guys, and STABS the backs of the GOOD ones.

"Oh PLEASE world....forgive us for being the arrogant jerks we've always been."

"Here......let us give you MORE money and MORE aid, while we let you continue to take advantage of us, and we'll just tax these capitalist INFIDELS some more, to make it all happen."

"And you poor GITMO detainees............let us show you the tender mercies of freedom, as we allow you to be tried in a CIVILIAN court, where you can be extended the RIGHTS you never gave 3,000 victims at the WTC."

B.S.!!!!!..............his book should have been titled, "The Audacity of a DOPE!"

Not to ention all the dopes out there who continue to endorse this idiot.

I've lived in Mtn Home for over 20 years. I love my city and my country. Since I am a writer, my decision to blog here seemed appropriate. I enjoy acting so I've been blessed with the opportunity to work on some independent films and with Prairie Dog Productions and Bogus Creek Ranch. I hope that something I have to write about has some value for others or just amuses someone.
