Philip Elliott, Associated Press Writer stated in his article the following:
"After insisting no one was receiving unsolicited e-mails from the White House (WH), officials reversed their story Monday night and blamed outside political groups for the unwanted messages from the tech-savvy operation." Isn't that a shocking revelation? White lies being admitted to by the White House! But passing the buck was quickly used as well. For anyone who doesn't understand what happened. Here is a quick run-down: 1. WH sets up email address for people to report "fishy" internet information so that the administration can keep up with the false rumors being spread around. 2. Joe and Janet American Citizens decide to take a stand against this type of system that makes an enemy list for Obama. The people rise up and complain to everyone that they can. 3. WH gets worried that they have really stepped over the proverbial place of no return. 4. Real unbiased journalist speak out against it and even go so far as to question them publically about this privacy invasion. 5. Soon media and the Americans decide to show WH what real democracy looks like by protesting loudly and calling this scam exactly what it is for all the world to hear. It goes against our First Amendment Rights. 6. Another alarm is set off that lets Joe and Janet know that WH is gathering email addresses and sending unsolicited messages to people. 7. Real Journalists boldly asked why and kept asking why until WH was in full blown panic mode. 8. Flag.gov scam is shut down! It will no longer exist! Joe and Janet America along with Real Journalists demand that WH speak the truth and stop lying. 9. WH makes public apology to everyone by admitting that maybe, un-beknown to them, some people who didn't sign up to receive emails from the WH were actually sent a message from a top political adviser, by the name of David Axelrod urging them to support health care reform. 10. WH passes the buck by blaming an unknown independent group that signed up their members for WH updates. It wasn't their fault but they are so very sorry! WH online director, Macon Phillips said in a blog posting "An ironic development is that the launch of an online program meant to provide facts about health insurance reform has itself become the target of fear-mongering and online rumors that are the tactics of choice for the defenders of the status quo". Now that is Democracy in action! People saw what was happening, passed the word onto others and demanded that this invasion stop! The people's voices were heard! I've lived in Mtn Home for over 20 years. I love my city and my country. Since I am a writer, my decision to blog here seemed appropriate. ....and no shots were fired in anger ....and not one state succeeded from our great union in order to beat back this invasion. Go figure.....
I still think they're gonna eventually push the wrong buttons.
But if they DON'T, it won't be because they WANTED to do the right thing. They've got some scared senators and congressmen coming back from recess, who are now SWEATING re-election bids.
Whatever happens, I hope the American public is smart enough to realize what these jackals INTENDED to do, had we not made a fuss about it.
They STILL need to be voted OUT, no matter what happens.
It STILL burns me up that Obama, who has never lived in a hole, eaten nothing but C-Rations for a year, nor dodged any mortar rounds or machinegun fire, could sit back on his pompous Chicago butt and suggest the vets pay for their own medical problems.
Yeah, I know.............he retracted that......but the supposed "Commander-in-Chief" should never have had the ingratitude to suggest anything like that in the first place.
I wouldn't start celebrating anything yet, folks. This is the most corrupt regime we've ever had. Remember what all they HAVE done already, and you can be sure that when things quiet down a bit, they'll be trying to sneak other things across.
A rattlesnake is still a rattlesnake, even when you DON'T hear him............ESPECIALLY when you don't hear him.
Don't misunderstand me........I am GLAD that website has been removed, but it's only "one of the avenues we KNOW about." I don't trust this government any further than I could throw Donna's old DeSoto.

Obama's "stimulous" is gonna help EVERYBODY! He has now given a TWO BILLION dollar "loan" (I thought we were broke), to Brazil so THEY can drill for oil off THEIR shores!
As for the U.S............we can still remain dependent on foreign oil...........but we have money to give to BRAZIL!
But we don't mind, right? It's only money, and after all, it isn't like they're using OURS, is it?
The book should have been titled, "The Audacity of a DOPE!"............although the REAL dopes are the ones who voted him in and CONTINUE to support this lunacy even now.
And......................Harry reid is calling for a "nuclear option" that will allow the Dems to push this healthcare fiasco right on through, regardless of having enough votes or not.
"Going it alone" as they say.
Boy, I sure hope they do that! It's like the cops picking up a knife at the murder scene with only ONE definitive set of fingerprints!.......and that's what we want in 2010 and 2012!
Bouncer...........Bouncer..............heard about the cash for clunkers? The government ISN'T reimbursing the car dealers and a BUNCH of them are backing away! Maybe Obama will just send them "IOU's" like they're doing out in California!
