The protest going on now will get bigger, their not going away anytime soon.

The bills have gone up steadily since 2008. We can blame Congress and We can Blame Bush.

But the Buck stops with Obama for his term. That is what he is getting paid for. No other CEO would last if they couldn't take care of business.

The blank checks were signed into law by him and Congress shoved things through without any censure for over two years.

So, if we are talking about the GE company or anyone else who by the way contributed big to Obama's campaign who did not pay taxes. If he can produce a Billion Dollar War Chest for Campaigning. You have to know that he is taking favors, they all do. And keep Solyndra in your thoughts, there is the proof of crony captitalism that cost us taxpayers dearly.

It doesn't matter what any either president has done in the past, Obama is in charge now and must accept all of the headaches of the job with the perks that he has been enjoying for the past 3 years.

If we complained about doing our job and the difficulties of cleaning up messes, our supervisors would think that we are just not up to the responsibilty and let us go.

Obama stated once I am President I'will close Gitmo' still hasn't happened.....I will get us out of the wars we are in,"again we still there"......Instead spend billions and go after Libya without saying what we were going to do.....Now that leader is dead and a group of rebels are running the country and put Sharia law in place.........Guess that way replace one dictator with a group of them......

Fast and Furiouss the Government tryed to convince the American public we had civilians selling guns to Mexico.......Oops turn out to be the ATF and the leaders of the Attorney Generals office.......Now Holder won't even own up to what he knew and when, just blame everything on someone else.

Federal Attorney General. Home Land Security can't be bothered to protect our borders but instead sell guns .......to the Mexican cartel to use again us and Mexico.

Now Obama is going to take it upon himself to do his Job Bill by himself cause the Repub's won't help. Did you see that Demo's in the Senate also voted against his "Job Bill".........He accused the Repub"s and not helping so he would give it to them one piece at a time so they would understand it.........guess what Obama doesn't have an understanding of any of it himself.

Go ahead give 1/2 billion to Solar company going out of business,,,,,,,,give another 1.2 Billion to a another company for green energy and the money ended up in Mexico and its not coming back......Give a Russian field office in I think Mich or in that part of the country another 1/2 billion to work on another green energy project........If Russia wants to do it let them pay for it not the "USA Taxpayers"..

While I am at it give Social Security people a raise in Jan. but also raise the premium for Medicare which will probably wipe out the raise the way the Government works.......Lets no forget the "Military Veterans" be sure to charge them a premium for health care,,,,,tri care for life was free but now they are trying to make us pay $200 a year for that.....Forget those free benifits we were offered to join and what we would get for life which didn't happen and it WAS NEVER In Writing either, so much for that lie....

You want to cut the budget,,,,,,(which I have to add we have started our 4th year without a budget under the Dem's control)))).... I haven't seen much of anything by Congress to even try to get a budget,,,,,,guess they are waiting on the Trigger to kick in before Thanksgiving and do the cuts for them. And to top it off """"DDDDEEEENNNNNSSSEEEE" will take the biggest hit with Social Security right behind them.

Social Security is going broke due to all the money robbed from the account by Congress and the IOU's put in the money's place to never be repaid. Plus the fact the baby boomers are of age and now starting to collect social security and will collect more than they paid in.

Bottom line come Nov 2012 we need a leader in the "White House" and a "Congress" that does the job they were elected to do and thats get off their butts and fix the problems they have created.

Take a look at that Billion Dollar War Chest again. Who do you think contributes to Obama's campaign. Not poor people, The Wealthy, The Celebrities, The Unions, The Corporations, And gasp! Wall Street.

Obama says that the Republicans are saying no to everything. They had 20 or more bills that couldn't get passed in the Senate. Including Most of Obama's Jobs Act contents.

And if you want proof of this. Keep track of all of the Obama Fund-raisers that he attends. And the guest lists. There is your proof.

Last Week, $35,000 per plate at Hollywood. Very well-covered by the media. Just think 1,000 people attending and the horrifying cost of the gala event to start with could feed a hundred families for a week or more. How many animal shelters would that build and maintain? How many scholarships for the up and coming gradutates to further their education? Or schools in need of repair or books.

And that is just one event. His record speaks for itself and should stand alone, very well documented by all types of media. Friendly or not. The CEO of GE was made a czar of energy in this administration. The very company who did not pay a dime in taxes.

I get pretty irritated when someone assumes that everyone in the Republican Party is wealthy, phobic or selfish. When you look as someone who spends thousands of dollars on clothing or cars without blinking an eye. Tell yourself the truth about what political leanings they really have.

I bet you will be very surprised. And now I am going to mention one last name. George Soros. Guess what he's been up to? And guess what he is not a Republican. No, he is a billionare that uses his money to get his way. And he is pretty lavish about it too.

He doesn't want people who think for themselves, he wants to buy their loyalty. That is pretty well documented too.

So it works both ways. It always has. Bush has been out of the picture for a very long time. His job is over, Make Obama accountable for the job he is or isn't doing.

If you put all of these people into a sifter, they would still make the same flour. The weevils would still invade and ruin it for everyone. And no one thinks to ask them what party they belong too. You just know that they are weevils.

I don't think the plan in it's current form (as it is being sold to us) would make it to his desk without being compromised to even greater degrees than he announced it had been in Detroit last week, when he announced his 9-9-9 plan would be 9-0-9 for some.

My point is that EVERYONE has weevils in their flour. Sometimes you see them and sometimes you don't. It doesn't matter what party you belong to if you are corrupt or greedy. It is still wrong.

We could go back and forth all day long about who is the most evil or greedy. But really that does not matter as much as trying to get this country back on track.

Each of these political parties have dogs in the hunt. And each of them have their own weevils to contend with.

I try to get to know the person. I know a great many conservative people who are very caring and loving people. I know a great many liberal people who are loving and caring too. My own in-laws have some very spirited discussions on all topics. And some of my family too. I don't love them any less.

We could go on all day long who is the rudest, greediest and most hateful,but it will only keep the pot boiling.

I don't have a chip on my shoulder, I do think that most conservative people are compassionate loving people. I wouldn't go to dinner with Pat Robertson either. Nor would I have gone to dinner with Pelosi or Harry Reid.

I personally cringe when a "supposed" Christian tells someone that God is on their side. I guess my philosophy is that God is God and we humans have no clue about His Sovereignty. And when we think that we have all the answers to the questions, WATCH OUt!

What it boils down to is your own account with God. All the other things are pretty small compared to that relationship.

I don't stereotype you Lamont. I might not agree with you on some things, but you are who you are. I would still be honored and proud to shake your hand any day.

I didn't say anything about how the first family dressed. Where did you get that? I was using the example of some people purchasing clothes or cars without a 2nd thought of how much money they are spending.

I didn't mention the first family at all in that statement.

If you and I purchase a pair of jeans. We might pay $15.00 to $30.00 per pair. If we go to walmart or kmart. But a celebrity or someone else will plonk down $400 or $500 without a second thought. actually, I rarely ever buy brand new jeans when you can find a great pair in the thrift stores.

Then they use their celebrity status or political status to tell us to tighten our belts. Go Green or other instructions but think nothing of going into a boutique on Rodeo Drive or NYC and spending thousands of dollars in one fell swoop.

But conservatives are getting the rep that they don't care about poor people. When in fact that is simply not true.

Obama tells us that the wealthy need to pay their fare share in taxes and then goes to solicit money for his campaign to the very people he has just declared selfish and greedy.

So are only the wealthy conservatives wealthy and greedy and deserved to be taxed? or is anyone willing to look at the campaign fund-raisers that draw a crowd who are willing to pay $35,000 per plate? Somehow, they get exempted from that scrutiny process don't they? As long as they are supporting their party.

That is what I was pointing out. A little hypocrisy going on for BOTH sides. Let Obama take his licks. He should be able to stand up for himself, he certainly has helped himself politically and financially.

I don't have to prove that either, like I said the main stream media is quick to give the information about the fundraisers and all of the hoopla that goes with it. The dollar amount does not matter, the attitude does.

So Lamont, relax a bit. Obama is a grown man. Bush took his hard knocks while in office and a few extra years to boot. Obama signed up for the job, and the evaluations are coming due. We have all had a bad evaluation a time or two.

Why on earth would someone need a billion dollars for a campaign fund? And who is paying for the travel made by the President and his entourage to these fundraisers? We are.

But it is touted that the Republicans are greedy and don't care about the poor. Do you see the irony of that thought?

These fundraiser galas cost millions to put together. There is another big waste. And if you don't think that I am right, just look at the cost of food alone, the chefs, wait service etc. not to mention the cost of the venue. So someone is lining their pockets and good. And it is all probably deductable on their taxes. So no one is getting the benefit of those extra tax dollars are they?

Maybe that is where the present administration is counting for their creation of jobs and helping the economy?

If we cut off the funds and donations for campaigns, I am willing to bet that most of the career politicians would suddenly "retire".

And maybe, the ones who want to serve and go home after their tenure, like it was supposed to be will actually get something done.

What would you do differently? Most of us would choose make ourselves available to listen to people who have been trying to say we don't want this and here is why?

I quite frankly get tired of the Poster Children on Display for Campaign and Political Gain. All Sides No Exceptions.

If they had taken that surplus and distributed it back to the people of the US. We might have seen a great turn in our economic situation. Instead, they chose to "favor" corporations and banks with those fund and look at what has happened.

After all that -the salt in the wound is> It failed and even more people are unemployed and someone got a little more richer. I guarantee it wasn't a conservative.

If you had a unexpected bonus of say $40,000. come back to you as a family. You would pay your bills down, buy new things, start a business, take trips, help others in need. The possibilities are endless. And jobs would have been created.

Can anyone argue with that? No, we were not trusted with the money that we paid in, instead, we were given two or three massive expensive bills passed in secret and told to swallow the concept whole without argument.

Then, those bailed out organizations gave bonuses that would keep our families and business going for 10 years. Other bailed out companies have gone belly-up.

So what would you do differently? We keep getting told not to switch horses in midstream, but the way this country is going-someone is not going to make it to shore.

It is Not a party line problem, it is a voter error in keeping those people in- who do not have our best interests at heart. Keep that in mind when you go to vote this coming year.

It doesn't matter WHO Started it, it only matters now who is going to finish it and how.

I have no problem with people having money. I do have a problem when they use their money to belittle those who don't.

We can think for ourselves- thank you. If we hear something that doesn't ring quite true, our fingers work just as well on the keyboard as those who claim to be more educated than us.

So again, I ask, What would you do differently?

Put all of the things in the past and get a perspective for the future.

I think your talking about the bailout.Lets put it this way our economy is tied to the rest of the world and as the country that is used as the standard so goes our financial health so goes the world.Now the europeans are trying to get away from that by forming the EU with one currency.I THINK THEY SAW ALL OF THIS COMMING AND COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.; My thought only

PART of our problem started over 13yrs agao we all got a check for $ 250.00 we said great we forgot to look and see what that would cost in the future and the future is now.Those ck"s in hindsight were for political gain they started the ball rolling.

IF THE GOVERNMENT AS A WHOLE WAS FOR REAL THE FIRST THING THEY WOULD DO IS FREEZE EVERYTHING DO A REAL EVALUATION AND FORMULATE A PLAN.THAT IN MY OPINION IS WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN...NOW.WE HAVE A WOUND THAT NEEDS STITCHES AND WE KEEP PUTTING ON BANDAIDES.CUT SPENDING AND RAISE TAXES WERE NEEDED.

MOST OF THE BAILOUT MONEY HAS BEEN PAID BACK WITH INTEREST SO WE MADE MONEY BUT AT WHAT COST WE CAN ONLY GUESS.....I FEEL THEY PAID IT BACK ON THE BACKS OF THE WORKERS BY THE LAYOFFS,TIGHT CAPITAL IF ANY AT ALL AND THE STILL WORTHLESS HOME SECURITY'S.THAT HAS GOT TO GET FIXED.THEY KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE BUT BECAUSE OF POLETICS THEY WOULD RATHER LIE AND NOT GET IT DONE........I WANNA GET REELECTED....I SAY YOU BEEN THERE TO LONG........ALONG WITH THE FACT THAT YOU PROBALLY LIED TO GET HERE.

MY RANT APPLIES TO THEM ALL NO PARTY IS INNOCENT.....NONE......PROBLEM.....THE AMERICAN PEOPLE NEED TO GET IN TOUCH WITH WHAT IT WILL TAKE.I KNOW, THIS IS MY SECOND TIME AROUND AND AT MY AGE TIME, IS RUNNING OUT......LETS GET IT ON.!!!!

How about the company's doing the right thing. It has been shown there profits increased and wages did not. To the tune of 400% IN SOME CASES.Wages DIDNT even keep pace with enflation.SEEMS TO ME THE MILITARY TRIED TO KEEP OUR PAY UP WITH INFLATION,(they didnt do a good job but they tried)

2- again you point to one incident and then paint everyone with a braod brush.How ever when the same is done to the tea party you dont like it.

6- I WOULD NOT AND A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD NOT CONSIDER THIS RIGHT TO WORK STATE A BASTION OF COMPETITIVE WAGES SINCE ITS INCEPTION WAGES HAVE DROPPED ,AND MORE LABOR ABUSE $ 24,000.00 AVERAGE WAGE IS JUST ABOVE THE POVERTY LEVEL.

7- I DID NOT IMPLY THAT UNIONS ARE THE SAME AS THEY WERE YEARS AGO SO DONT TRY TO MAKE THAT ARGUMENT,YOU ALSO MAKE SOME ARGUMENTS THAT DONT HOLD WATER TAXES FOR CORPORATION HAVE WENT DOWN AND HAVE BEEN FALLING FOR YEARS,wHAT HAS OAKLAND GOT TO DO WITH UNIONS????How aout the fact that the protesters that are out there are not older people(TEA PARTY) they are young people and we all know they are not the same.Again painting with a broad brush.

MY whole point being if I said every person from idaho was bigot you would say that is not true to call everyone in a union a goon is the same.I feel that it becomes easy to demonize the group because it then becomes easier to hate .Rather than hear any given one or consider there side.Been there done that the same garbage has been done to every minority in this counmtry.

The one going on today are mostly young people but there all ages attending these rallies and marches. I think its wonderful that the young people in our country are into politics and out there showing whats wrong with our county trying to make a difference and doing it in a non violent way!
