Military people endured years of hardships to earn their medical benefits. Seems like we need to pay so he can give it to those who don't pay. What a crock of crap. Thanks for the info Joe.

I thought the retired were already having to pay a fee for their health care (tricare). Wasn't that changed several years ago..... And hasn't tricare been around for awhile? How does tricare work? Do you pay when you see a Doctor or pay an annual fee....

MsM, I am not going to try to explain tricare but that what system we have now. You probably reminder Chumpus(ms) tricare replaced that.

tricare has been around for a few years now, you pay an annual premium to have it. Once you turn 65 you have to go on medicare and tricare for life. You pay a co pay for some things when seeing a doctor off base. tricare has worked very well for me for a number of years, the only reason I still alive is cause of it when they send me to the specialist and sometimes I paid a co pay and other times I didn't have to.

The whole point of my post is now they (Obama)wants the retired Vets 65 and older to have to pay for that.

Like skeeterr and Zook said we just keep paying for health care Not going into any details of what tricare has paid to take care of me, sure not what we were told me when we first enlisted, health care and dental for life. Forget not going to happen.
