Country Gravy with Hamburg/Sauage over Toast
1-2.64 ounce McCormick Country Gravy Mix
1/3-Lb 92 percent hamburg (Doesn't have to be exact)
1/3-Lb a good seasoned sausage (Doesn't have to be exact)
1-TBsp margarine
1-Cup water
1-Cup milk
About a Tsp black pepper
Break your hamburg and sausage into small chucks and add to a skillet to brown and keep it broken into small chucks.
In a sauce pan add water, milk, margarine, and pepper, heat on a medium low heat.
Once the milk and water mixture is heated enough, (Not Boiling.) add the country gravy mixture a bit at a time and whisk in (helps from getting lumps) keep it stirred so the flour mixture doesn't settle to the bottom of the pan.
Stir and cook until the thickness you want.
Once the hamburg and sausage are done drain on a paper towel.
Put in a container with a lid that you can micro wave.
When the gravy is done pour over meat and mix.
Serve over toast, warm biscuits, hash browns or whatever you may like it on.
If you have left overs the micro wave container works well to warm up the mixture on a medium heat, stirring once in a while. If when heated it becomes to thick add a bit of milk and stir in.
If you would like more sausage favor use the Sausage Gravy mix instead of the Country Gravy.
