Banana Spice Cake

2-Large eggs
2/3-Cup shortening
1-Tsp salt
2-Tsp vanilla
1 1/3-Cup sugar
1 2/3-Cup mashed bananas (4 Large )
2-Tsp baking powder
1-Tsp baking soda
1/4-Tsp cloves
1 1/2-Tsp cinnamon
3/4-Tsp nutmeg
2 3/4-Cups flour
Combine shortening, salt, and vanilla, then cream with sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Add banana pulp and blend well.
Stir dry ingredients, add to first mixture and beat until well blended.
Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish and add cake batter to dish. Bake at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Choice of icing/frosting is your option to what you would like to top the cake with.
