Shortcut German Chocolate Cake

1-18 1/4 ounce German Choc Cake Mix

1 1/4-Cups coconut

1 1/4-Cups diced walnuts

1-14 ounce sweetened condensed milk

3-TBsp butter or baking margarine

1-Tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Grease and lightly flour a 9 x 13 baking dish

Mix the cake per box instructions, add 1/2 cup diced walnuts, and 1/2 cup coconut

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean

Topping

In a small sauce pan put in the butter, sweetened condensed milk, 3/4 cup diced walnuts, vanilla and 3/4 cup coconut. Over medium heat cook about 5 minutes or until thickened, keep the mixture stirred. Once thickened pour over the baked cake and smooth out, let it set up a bit before cutting the cake.

outtahere: You are welcome I hope all having enjoyed what I have posted and I am not done yet. I do know alot of people are looking at them some with interest and some not but thats there choice. Its just my way of giving something back to the area that people may like.

Thanks OM, I did make down to my daughters yetersday and whole family was there but I did make sure I got home before dark.
