Chocolate Drop Cookies

1/4 Cup margarine

1/4 Cup Vegetable shortening

1 Cup Sugar

1 Large Egg

2 ounces chocolate unsweetened

1 Cup chopped walnuts

3/4 Cup buttermilk

1 Teaspoon vanilla

1 3/4 Cups flour

1/2 Teaspoon baking soda

1/2 Teaspoon salt

Mix crisco, sugar, egg, and melted chocolate

Stir in the buttmilk and vanilla

Stir together flour, soda, and salt and add to above

Mix in the nuts

Chill for at least an hour

Drop by rounded teaspoon about 2 inches on a lightly greased baking pan

Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes
