Stuffing BallsPosted Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 12:05 PM
Another good one for your parties or get together
First stuffing recipe I use but if you like another one better use it. Stuffing 1 Quart milk 1 Stick of butter or margarine 1 TBsp coarsely ground pepper 1 Tsp salt 1 Tsp Sage 12 ounce package seasoned dressing/stuffing mix 1 Small onion diced 4 or 5 Sticks celery diced 1 Large Egg 1 Package Bacon for making the stuffing balls Heat the milk, butter, sage, pepper, salt in a sauce pan on low heat until the butter is melted While the milk mixture is being heated go ahead and put the rest of it together and whisk the Egg in a small dish Put all the indgrients in a bowl. Once the milk is warm pour a small amount onto the mixture and then add the egg and more milk and stir. You may not need all the milk just have to keep the mixture stirred until you get the moisture content you want for the stuffing Once your stuffing is ready it helps to chill it before making the stuffing balls Cut your bacon strips in half, and I use a cookie scoop for the size of the stuffing and place it on the bacon strips. Then wrap the bacon around the stuffing until it over lap's a bit then insert a tooth pick thru the bacon until it comes out the other side Place the balls on a large baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour turning over once half way thru the baking Hope I put this all in right so you can easly understand it, very simple snack for your party Comments Showing comments in chronological order [Show most recent comments first] |

I thought that this was a posting about a Knytes of Anarchy function but thanks for the recipe.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! You made me laugh out loud.
I'm definitely going to make these for Thanksgiving, Joe; thanks a lot.
I have new recipe for roasting the turkey, it does not include any stuffing at all. So these will come in handy.
